For Your Love was written by future 10cc member Graham Gouldman who in 1968, stepped in as a temporary replacement for bassist Bob Lang in The Mindbenders,

Apart from having coincidentally similar titles, the song 'House Of Pain' was the b-side to Van Halen's 'Jump'.
