Liberation - Pet Shop Boys

Richie Furay who originally formed Poco was born on May 9th,1944. A year later Guernsey was liberated when German forces surrendered unconditionally, May 9th is celebrated every year on Liberation Day....... I know because I was born and raised there

The two Pet Shop Boys are Chris & Neil.
Chris Neil was a record producer between 1976 & 1994.
'Dancing With The Captain' was the first UK hit he produced.

One of Adam Ant's Top 20 solo singles was 'Apollo 9'.
The #1 song in the UK when the actual 'Apollo 9' mission took place in March 1969 was the aforementioned one by Peter Sarstedt.

David Bowies last UK #1 was 'Let's Dance'.
Fives last UK #1 was also called 'Let's Dance' (albeit a different song 18 years later).
Fives first chart-topper was 'Keep On Movin'.

'90s dance act Livin' Joys two biggest hits were called 'Don't Stop Movin'' & 'Dreamer'.
Both different songs from those with the same title by S Club 7 & Supertramp.

The reissue of 'He Ain't Heavy..' was #1 during the 3 weeks that 'Domino Dancing' was in the UK top 10 in September 1988.
