The '10' video clip

This clip on Saturday's show left me a bit bemused
Len's comments on one of the couples (can't remember who ) were left out to give time over to this.

Firstly, why do we have to be told that it is the 'ultimate' goal each week? I'm sure we all know it's the highest a judge can score.

Secondly, where has Rachel disappeared to? It seemed to be about the final four last year but Zoe Ball was there in Rachel's place. From what I read of the Strictly Tour last year, Rachel got plenty of the "elusive" (granted not so much series 6 )10s so it was strange she wasn't included.

The word "elusive" is not one I would use to describe the "10" in Series 6...

I think that they're choice of celebs was good, even including Tom as the dance they used as the example was actually quite good (in comparison with his Waltz which he basically just begged for one). Zoe I thought was the most worthy of them all to be there as her Tango was a dance which she rightfully earned a 10 for without any begging or complaining. Just how it use to be...

BUT, the whole segment was pointless IMO as such an idea should not be sown in the judges minds as of yet. To them, for the forseable future, the judges scorings should stop at 9, and 9 only.

Rachel and Alesha (yes, I know Alesha couldn't really have done it) should have been on it. Since they scored the most tens. I was pleased to see Zoe on it though. Strange mix they had there.

Sorry, my sarcasm obviously didn't register - that's why "elusive" had quotation marks round it.

10s fell like rain last year

They had little interviews with the other people who got 10s and so I expect Rachel didn't have time to give an interview.

AGree, as soon as Len gives a 10, you can guarantee Bruno and Alesha will soon follow suit. Even Craig is scoring higher this year and will score Ricky W a 10 at some point.
