Why cant our shows be like that?

Just been on the Advice forum and on the top of the page are the headlines - 'Latest Dancing With The Stars Result' and inside is the spoiler. No big breaking news giving away the results.

Now I know this is an entertainment website and a UK one, hence they give away the results, and that if you havent watched the show yet common sense will say not to come onto forums if you dont want to know the results, but a headline like that would be nice instead of giving away the results.

Its like that for The X Factor as well.

Does anyone else like DS giving away the results as soon as the show's finished?

if i miss the show i stay off the internet and telly until ive caught up. its impossible not to get the winner named anywhere. DS not partic more guilty esp as its a site all about news from showbiz!

There's a spoiler for the DWTS result because although the result is now out, it hasn't been broadcast in the UK yet, so it impossible for people to have watched it over here (legally at least). When the UK result is released it's because it has been on UK TV, so there is no need to hide it. People have had the opportunity to watch if they so wished, and if they haven't yet then it's up to them to avoid the result, not up to others to shield them from it. You wouldn't expect Sky Sports News to not put up the football results for a while after a match in case anyone who wanted to see the match later was watching.

I agree. It only happens when the show has already been broadcast (well, normally - there are occasional slip ups!).

It is like not wanting to know the football results - avoid places where you are likely to find them out!
