More HD content.
From the bt vision website:
With BT Vision, you can experience movies in glorious high definition (HD). A selection of the best new releases are available for you to download, with fantastic picture quality and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. ok, great, so what films can i enjoy in HD? Films available to watch in HD Watchmen Seven Pounds Slumdog Millionaire Van Helsing The Lost World: Jurassic Park 5 films.....is that it? 5 average films? Is that all they have to offer. Where are all the others? that's a pathetic lineup. More films in HD please BT. As you keep banging on about it's glorious HD capabilities, why not backup that claim with some actual HD CONTENT! I just have to go into Blockbusters and they've got tons of HD films. |

Slumdog average ?
Anyway, there's also some HD content in the TV sections :- Cranford - HD Desert Lions - HD Earth- The Power Of The Planet- HD Extraordinary Animals 1- HD Galapagos- HD Ganges- HD Hiroshima- HD Last Night Of The Proms 2007 HD Planet Earth- HD Pride- HD Superstorm- HD Supervolcano- HD Tigers- Spy In The Jungle- HD Top Gear 2007: Polar Special- HD Trek - Spy On The Wildebeest- HD I do agree with you though that that the quantity of HD films is poor. I watched Seven Pounds lasts week and the picture & sound quality was great - we just need more of it goddammit !! |

Steve i think that list is old,
theres 2 more films in there now making it 7 HD Films. they sacrificed the HD and surround test. I feel the TV HD is very biased towards documentaries. I mean why cant some of the footie be put in HD? especially the ESPN match as that is shot in HD (at the source level). |

It goes beyond pathos "steveq3"...
from their own website... How long does it take to download an HD programme? The HD programmes take approximately 4.5 times the duration of the films to download. So a 1 hour programme takes around 4.5 hours. Most films will take between 5.5 hours and 7.5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!! |
