Simon says Dannii is not homophobic or spiteful and made a mistake, but Daily Star have titled it "Dannii is an Idiot".
Where does he say that??!!

He's more bothered by Cheryl and Louis' comments about overconfidence, though amusingly goes on to say it's true.

They do anything for a juicy headline.
They also advertise for being the most successful paper, using of the many 'sack Dannii' front pages as an example.

Danyl was upset with many things he said.
The praise from Simon and the comments from Louis & Cheryl.

Yeah, to be fair it did seem as though it was when Simon said it was one of the best performances he'd seen that Danyl filled up. Must have been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions.

First Louis and Cheryl says he's cocky and not likable, then Simon says something like he's the best there is.
That must have been overwelming.

Well, 0.002% of the viewers could be bothered to waste OFCOM's time, many would have tutted and forgotten five minutes later and a very small number keep the whole thing going on this forum by constantly exclaiming their faux outrage. Despite what they may think they do not speak for British public.

With reference to the thread, I think this topic will be around for a while, unless something else happens to overshadow it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Mine is that, with the whole story out, Danni did nothing wrong.

It would be interesting to see how many of the 4000 odd complaints came from people who also post in forums like these, and how many from what I refer to as the "non DS Public" but I guess we will never know.

Just as, to be honest, we will never know Dannii's true motivation for that comment, no matter what anyone says. The only one who knows for sure, is Dannii herself. And no amount of talking around the subject is going to change that fact.
