Now celebs are paid 50k (or whatever it is) they really should make sure they can commit their time properly. Perhaps this is a one off for RW and he won't have such a big story line in a week or two? I don't watch Hollyoaks, so I have no idea.

I got the impression last night's ITT followed from forum comments. It was touched on as to, perhaps, why they are very focussed (extremely restricted training time), the final spins on the Salsa was covered (although if I understood right I still think there were millions of spins choreographed just in a different direction) and RW did say different things (hallellujah! repetitive stuff was what had been irritating me up until now)

Apparently it was the Christmas show that Ricky was doing and I think it would be a one-off for him. Don't watch Hollyoaks so I can only speculate that they are like other soaps where emphasis were on different characters taking a lead in certain times and 'playing the wall-flower' in other times.

I was glad that Claudia didn't try to show us any more half-naked pictures of Ricky or something (she did in the very beginning) though I object to her banging on about his gruelling hours with Hollyoaks. No problems with her liking Ricky (which I feel is clear for all to see) but please, Claudia, it won't help to go with the 'sympathy' route.

I thought that was a promotion of the couple, even going so far as to run a ridiculous "fairytale" theme. Talk about blatant manipulation! If you want to discern the BBC's favoured, selected ones, keep a close eye on ITT for this type of thing - as well as on Len, of course, with his bizarre, seemingly random overmarkings and sometimes, even tactical undermarkings.

In every interview or backstage video for Hollyoaks, Ricky comes over as really bubbly and fun, in SCD i do agree he does come across a bit quiter, yes, a bit more dull. Maybe it's just the intense competition and him being generally exhausted.

I think some of it is probably based on his past dance experience, and people think he's cocky because he is so good.

I actually don't think he seems cocky at all, he seems quite humble to me, he didn't seem to put out that he wasn't top of the leaderboard last week. I also don't find him dull either...? Just my opinion.

I'm loving Ricky & Natalie. He's no more or less boring than anyone else.

It's the other Ricky that irritates me...

Moi non plus.

Posters on here appear to take against people they think have had an easy life...

But it's all quite quixotic.

Personally I'm here for the dancing & the obsessive character analysis I can do without.

Your comment gives the impression that no-one else has promotion on ITT. They often do different skits for couples
