In the One Show (14 Oct 2009). 20 minutes or so into the show, they were thinking about invention Wallace and Gromit stylie, and she suggested installing a happy horn in every car so that we can use it appropraitely (not as a warning or rebuke when driving)! I thought it was brill!

One point in the show, Dom, Gabby and Christine chatting together! If only Gethin was still there!

I saw this, thought she was very funny and it was good to have a bit of SCD alumni there!

She was on never mind the buzzcocks the other week and was very funny on that...

The stand in chairman was giving her a hard time and she got a few great one liners back at him

Yes, I have to say I've warmed to her post-Strictly. I didn't really dislike her in the first place, however...

She got all the intro rounds correct, didn't she? Or better, Noel Fielding just sat there in the end, when they guessed the song title from the lyrics, and Gabby was the one who guessed most of them! And they still lost, didn't understand why. The new guest host was a little thick and didn't count properly. The other team defo got less correct answers!

I think Gabby came across as over competitive in her SCD appearance - whereas her lovely hubbie Kenny was just having a good time and trying his best.

She was great on The One Show - the "Gabby Horn" would be a great invention - think how often you could use it during a drive!

I asked my husband, many years' ago, if he thought she was attractive.

His response ..... "put it this way, I wouldn't step over her to get to you!"

He's never been allowed to forget that comment!

We might cut down road rage if we have a Gabby Horn!

Imagine how the street would sound with Gabby Horns if England wins the next World Cup!

'cept when she got voted out of Strictly. The mask slipped and she showed her true character there. I feel quite sorry for her husband.

She seems like an absolutely lovely woman. I saw Kenny on something the other week (Loose Women, maybe ) and he was saying that when he first started going out with her, he was very worried about her finding out that he was dyslexic, as she was a very bright graduate and he felt stupid because he had difficulty reading. However, when she did guess about his problem (on about their third date, I think) she was fantastic and supportive. When he told the story, I got a little choked up as it was clear that she is a very caring person and that they adore each other.

Absolutely no need to feel sorry for Kenny!

Slightly going off topic, but it was hilarious hearing Adrian get so passionate about women's gymnastics!

Wow! That's a bit harsh. I'm incredibly competitive, I can't stand being beaten at Connect 4 let alone anything important. I've banned myself from my child's sports days because I'm a nightmare but my husband, the most laid back man on the face of the earth, thinks it's hilarious. I'm glad he's not as judgmental as you.

Nothing wrong with being competitive, but her performance given that she knew it was on camera and she should be used to controlling her emotions in stressful situations, was on a par with getting given "out" and then trashing the changing room.
It's too easy to be fooled by celebrities' "camera faces."

On a different D/S board, Cilla Black's such "dual personality" was discussed yesterday.

Well we're in agreement there, can't stand the woman. She's supposed to be a total snob in real life and only uses the "lorra lorra luv chook" accent for tv! Don't know how true that is though.

Are you talking about Cilia or Gabby? Never paid any attention to the former so don't know your 'lorra lorra luv chook' reference?

was at the recording of Would I Lie to You when she was on one of the teams. Really funny and clever. A pity that only a few minutes of the funniest stuff made the cut, but it all linked together and it was an all or nothing thing.

And I can confirm she was stunning in real life.

Read Kennys Auto biography and the reason that some of the competitive stuff that came out is explained. There are a couple of really good chapters on strictly.

Oh, My Gosh. I'm so jealous you seen her! She's an idol of mine. I can totally imagine she's stunning in real life. Strictly brought her to my attention, I'd not really seen much of her before but she's intelligent, witty, good at her job and juggles a young family. I think she's gorgeous. I'd love for her to have gotten further in Strictly. She reminded me of myself with her competitiveness!
