I honestly hope she does, I think it's her best song yet. It was written by Gary Barlow and her vocals are pretty much flawless on this track.

For anybody that hasn't heard:

I hope not. She can't sing particularly well and I am seeing and listening to her far too much already.

Agreed. I'm a bit sick of her to be honest.

Probably.

X Factor are setting the precedent by allowing Cheryl to "sing" her "song", so I don't see why Alesha couldn't do the same.

I don't expect it to be a particularly popular decision if she does though - certainly not on here!

For her sake, I hope not.

I wouldn't mind Paolo Nutini singing Pencil Full of Lead with the pros doing a QS or New Shoes with the pros dancing a silly jive routine to it!

She's not bad live :|..
Look for some versions of breathe slow live, she's good actually.

Doesn't she get enough airtime already?
Jeez, the last one (You never wash up, you bl00dy b@st*rd) got into my head in a very annoying fashion.
I switch off after the dances and only switch back for the result so what do I care? Ha!

I really wish those were the lyrics!

I don't think it would be a good idea. I know Cheryl Cole is doing it on the X Factor, but I think that is different because Cheryl is in that show because of her music career, whereas Alesha isn't. It would also be more fuel to her critics, and she doesn't need that.

Believe follow-up single is Stop leaving the toilet seat up or I'll cut your knackers off

Good stuff, its a ballad.

Then there's
"Pack yer bags, w@nker, you're leaving..."

Except more ungrammatical because this is ALESHA wot we is dealing with.

If Alesha does perform her single on SCD I'm going to get a flask and some sandwiches together and set up my deckchair on the beeb boards and watch the reaction It's pretty ill-humoured already over there and this would be like poking a stick into a hornets nest

I don't mind her but I DO mind Brucie fawning all over her. It's embarrassing.

Sounds like all the more reason for her to do it, to me!

I like that song. Would be great if she did it live - apparently more than Cheryl is going to do! And board meltdown - well it keeps us lurkers amused
Who Am I?

I expect its been included as part of the contract - after all its good publicity for the single and her upcoming tour.

Possibly.

Then make her dance afterwards to show how talented she truely is

And possibly then let her present.

They could call it the Alesha Show -

accidental pun but still I made myself laugh

I may be in the minority, but I think I preferred "He does nothing, the boy does nothing" or whatever it was - bit more catchy.

Alesha is wicked. End of.

I hope not as I think I'd find it a bit cringey to see a supposed judge suddenly warbling. A bit too gimmicky.

Maybe Craig, Len & Bruno should get up and do a turn as well. Bit of Take That or summat.

Me too. Even though it was like Mambo Number 5...

I'm sure its a grower but first listen this is a bit middle of the road.

I wonder if when performing she'll 'bring it.'

I don't think she will be allowed to somehow - sort of conflict of interest? Having said that I do believe the Cole woman is singing her single on Xfactor.

PS: Just listened. Its great! I could see one of the pro couples dancing to this. Matthew and his partner would be good.
