Three big names are due to switch on the Christmas lights at The Mall Norwich: comedy dance duo Stavros Flatley, X-Factor singing sensation Eoghan Quigg and Father Christmas himself.

Clicky

Still rather him flick the switch than hurricane boyle

Is Norwich really so lacking in noteworthy citizens of their own that they have to fly them in?

Nah every council has a budget & they probably spent a sh!tload of cash on the lights, so had to make major cutbacks for the person who flicks the switch.

Decent lights = Eggnog

Great, I move to Norfolk, and get this nightmare for a xmas pressy.

Think I'd get more enjoyment out of switching on my bathroom light.

That may well improve his hairstyle.

I live only a few miles from Norwich so could actually go....Nah! don't think I'll bother.

His legion of fans will put stop that. Oh! hang on though, the city centre's quite big so 14 people will fit in easily.

i was wondering at which point alan partridge was going to come in to it. wasn't he a fan of abba, as well as our eoghan. if he sings knowing me/you, that will, as they say in his native county derry, put the tin lid on it.
