In my experience, the Humax PVR has been fine, it has only reset twice since December 2009. I have only had one failed recording and it has only had one software update. Sure, it’s not Sky+, its slower, deleting programs in bulk can take some time and some of the features such as the remote can take some time to get used to. For me it’s the content, not the equipment.

I can change the box any time. The Sd picture on the Humax is far superior to Sky. The Hd on Humax is superb to. If yhe programming meets anybodys viewing needs. The Humax is fine I.M.O.”
