so the new lady gaga earphones are being released this month, at a price of £79.99! can a pair of earphones really be worth this much!? or is it all just a gimmick. i am still very tempted to buy them because the sound quality is not that good on my mp3 player and these headphones claim to give perfect sound quality so we can listen to our music 'how its meant to be heard'. check them out here

I love the design, not sure the audio quality though! I don't think that is expensive at all. For a semi-decent inear phones cost a lot more than that

just what exactly is it though that these earphones do? i have a pair of sonys which cos £8. and they are reasonably good quality, then again i have never experienced any of these 'super earphones' which cost ridiculous amounts. im really intrigued into how good the earphones actually are

I really want a pair but my earphones have a habit of lasting about 2 months before i lose them, tread on them or they just go wrong so i think for me personally spending £80 on a pair could be a bad idea.

yes i ended up getting a pair! i would say that 79.99 is a little steep, though if you dont mind paying that price....
when i first got them i was ready to take them straight back because i couldnt believe i spent so much on earphones! but i kept them and am happy i did, i have had them for 2 weeks now i recently tried using my old sony earphones, and it was unbearable to listen to! after getting these gaga earphones i will never go back to 'cheap' earphones again. the sound on the gaga headphones is very high quality, though i feel the price is more about the design, which is also great

I Love gaga but she aint catching me out in this brand she is being apart of. Although I am glad she is doing something music wise. Unlike most singers go on to do any tom, dick and harry thing they can add their name to.

I will only give exception to Britney because her perfumes are damn right gorgeous.

I am not a Gaga fan but I love the look of these phones.

In all fairness, it isn't Gaga herself who set this price, she always said she will try and make her stuff 'affordable'. However, the powers taht be of Dre have priced them like this as she 'only half made them'.

Well actually you don't get them free. Unless you have won a comeptition to see her. I have seen the meet and greet package and you are paying a lot more money to see and meet her. Your money makes up the concert ticket, a photo to see her and heart beat earphones and anything else.

yeah well my boss brought the meet and greet for me. So it is free

To be fair a pair of £10ish headphones usually last me a couple of months max... so I'd spend almost this much on headphones in a year easilly.
I think these are ugly though so wouldn't buy them, I'll stick to the cheapo ones.

They have high quality products, so no doubt the headphones will be good!

I like GaGa but I wouldn't spend that money on earphones, sorry. I use mine every day but they'd break too soon. Would be a waste of money in that respect.
