Unfortunately think Craig will go which is a shame as he is not the worst dancer. If it were on dancing ability alone then it would be Joe.

Isn't it about time we had a real shocker like a Gabby/Penny gate?

As long as it's not Chris & Ola I don't mind. I can't see Craig holding on for much longer although him and Flavia are sweet together.

I'm still bitter over that. Penny should have gone that week

I see your point though... everyone who's left so far has pretty much deserved to go. A shocker would liven the series up a bit.

Should:Joe C

Will: Probably Craig

Penny was bad.
Was that her "golden boots" effort?
I remember the boots and the hips. The dancing was shocking.

Yeah, that was their samba, I think, to 'These Boots are Made for Walking'.

There's no "should" about it.
Gabby didn't endear herself to the public. It's a "popularity contest" until nearly December.
After seven series or whatever, some people still don't get it.

I have a feeling it will be between Joe and Craig.

I actually meant my comment in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way. Obviously, I'm not actually bitter about something that happened two years ago.

No need to take it so seriously.

Or should I have punctuated every sentence with IMO?

I feel exactly the same.

Except that I'm quite fed up with both of them now.

I wish they'd maybe have 2 eliminations one week (surprise!) and none at other times. Not announce it in advance. Just do it.

Would make it more nerve-jangling.

The dancers who are clearly lagging behind the rest are Joe, Jo (much as I like her!) and Craig, so any of them going would be appropriate. After that, it gets tough - the likes of Tuffers, Jade or Laila going would be hard to take as they're all trying hard and turning out good dances.

Err..
There was nothing "obvious" about your post except possibly to you.
Actually, I thought you might have understood from what I said that I don't take it seriously and neither should anyone else at this stage of the series.
The format is designed to produce "injusticies" at this stage, it does the ratings the world of good.
This is the most important feature for the BBC.

I really don't mind if you are bitter or not, you can post whatever you like about the programme.

"Nerve-jangling?"

Err..

Although I've watched and enjoyed nearly every programme of every series, I can't take it that seriously.

Without letting this degenerate into an argument, I clearly can't post what I like, because I've been jumped on for using the word 'should', in a thread where every second or third post talks about who 'should' go this week or who 'should have' gone weeks ago.

I agree with your point about it being a popularity contest, and I really don't care enough to actually be bitter about Penny not going, but quoting me and saying that 'some people don't get it' was unnecessarily rude.

Err..

I said "some people still don't get it" because there's a lot who don't.

I wasn't singling you out for special attention. But it was in response to you saying "I'm still bitter over that. Penny should have gone that week."

Ok, you later qualified your remark, but not before I responded.
Your subsequent attitude to me seems based on "what you meant" rather than "what you said."

That's your problem.

Don't think it'll necessarily be Craig. Even if he's in the bottom 2, it depends who he's there with. If it's Joe or Jo, then he'll almost certainly stay in, I'd have thought. I suppose it's just possible that Ricky G, Laila or Phil could be in the dance off this week. That would be more of a problem for him.

I think Craig will g or the public might decide its time to say goodbye to one of the JO(e)s

It has to be Joe or Jo surely?

This is a discussion thread about who will go this week.....as some people think it is Craig they are obviously going to explian why.My opinion is that Flavia dosn't have the people skills to bring out the best in her partners as some of the other pros....she is very shy and a bit serious and therefore has to take some of the blame for Craig not doing well.I have said she is a great dancer and nice person....just not cut out for Strictly....lighten up!
