How good were Vincent and Flavia tonight?! Awesome! And very different but equally enjoyable, Brendan and Katya dancing to 'Gold' - I thought Katya really came out of her shell and shone, tonight. Wonderful stuff.

I thought so too. Vincent and Flavia are just breath taking with any of their tango shenanigans, I nearly dribbled watching them.

Absolutely agree. Fabulous pro dance
I find Vincent & Flavia magical - so complex and yet entirely fluid. Love them!

I agree, however the group Samba was ruined by one professional who danced like an ape with a moronic grin......Im not naming him but he should be ashamed of the quality of his dancing this evening.

Two words came into my ming when Vincent & Flavia finished....Mesmerizing and Gobsmacked.

One question I missed Bruce's introduction to the dance, it was not an Argentine Tango but it looked as if it was based on one. I would like to see the celebs attempt it in the semi final

LOL, he has the hairy chest too. I thought he did ok in the group dance, although he danced with a shade of parody which I didn't much enjoy.

I think he called it an 'Argentine Waltz' (?)

Vincent and Flavia were fabulous- would love to see more of that type of thing. Like the Milonga last year it was really interesting to see a new style being introduced. Flavia must have crossed someone in the wardrobe department though

The Samba was great but the costumes clashed, and Anton and Erin should not have been in it, and should definitely not have had a solo.

Also nice to see Brendan and Katya doing a solo, as Brendan hasn't done a lot of that kind of thing. Although I wasn't as taken with that routine as the others.

Loved Vincent and Flavias dance tonight it was brilliant but them doing anything Tango related is just amazing.

And Brendan and Katya I really REALLY enjoyed them two. Not as much but it was nice seeing them doing the solo dance.

Far be it from me to say anything negative about Matt Cutler, and I love purple, but his purple shirt jarred a bit somehow with all that aquamarine.

Did anyone else think that one of the professional female dancers was wearing the same outfit that Laila wore in her first Latin dance of the series? I don't actually remember which dancer it was (sorry!)

Strangely enough i didn't enjoy the Samba as much as i thought i would......i've seen the pros do a better Samba than that a few series ago,not sure if it was the choreography or the music ??

Anton hamming it up didn't help either........put the chest away

I think James wore his green shirt in the rebel yell jive in series 5 and Matt wore his purple top on the tour. One of the girls was wearing Laila's chacha dress so there seemed to be a lot of recycling.

I didn't get any of the pro dances today. I think I need to re watch Vincent and Flav's dance though as I spent most of the time thinking her shoes were pretty.

The samba was very flat and the highlight for me was the end when I could see Matt's hips.

Flavia and Vincents Tango/Waltz was absolutely sublime to watch.
Brilliantly intricate footwork and their timing is perfection when they dance.
Their showdances are always so different and they absolutely amaze me.

Brilliant!!

Didn't like the pro-|Samba. Partly because I didn't like the camera work (do I ever). But felt a bit frenetic. Now, Flavia and Vincent were, as ever, the classiest thing on the show.

I am not a samba fan so wasn't overly thrilled at that but Vincent and Flavia were superb. Even my husband was impressed and he usually does something else when the show is on as he not a dance fan.

The music more I think... if you're thinking of the same Samba as me (series three), both were choreographed by Darren and Lilia, and series three was far superior. Kind of helped that they weren't hampered by Anton and Erin, but I think both the Samba and the Paso from that series were the best pro demonstrations of those dances we have seen. They got decent music, nice costumes and good dancers. Also from what I remember they had better camera work.

Think there was a touch of recycling going on! Matt's purple shirt was from the tour, James appeared to be wearing his rebel yell shirt and Anton was in Tuffers Cha cha shirt from the other night! I recognised others too!

Sorry.......by the time I had sorted out this post someone had beaten me to it with some of the recycling!

Vincent and Flavia delivered a wonderful, fluid, playful, emotional and mesmerising performance - beautiful, beautiful, classy dancers that they are.

To be honest I was a bit, unhappy with the samba - I felt that they some of the usual pros were trying to be Aliona and Kristina flashy and I don't like that flashy, thrashy, over the top style too much. Lillia and Darren were wonderful though. It was just too OTT - I know the Samba is Ott, but, it wasn't sweet and clean and thrilling or something.

The TangoWaltz (seriously, did they make that dance up that afternoon?) was incredible. The highlight of the show and my favourite pro-dance of the series so far. Vincent & Flavia do have incredible dance chemistry.

Brendan & Katya were also pretty damn sexual and intense. A welcome distraction from the Hadley wailing.

The samba - not so much.

I loved Vincent and Flavia's tango-vals - thought it was wonderful and most romantic. They had a lovely connection and their footwork was just mezmorising.

I thought that the dress was nice and floaty - I think it was one of hers though (so she hasnt crossed the wardrobe department) as there was a picture of her with it in the Mail magazine before the start of the series. I wasn't sure about all the ruffles on the top at first but on playing it back again, I thought it worked and loved the floaty skirt which you don't usually get with other dances in the "argentine tango" stable.

Also actually really liked Brendan and Katya dancing to Gold too. Its the first time that I really started to appreciate that Katya is a good ballroom dancer. And Brendan was good too...!

However I must agree re the pro samba... it was all muddled. I hated that all the blokes had on different (sometimes clashes) coloured shirts... and although I usually love purple (and Matt)... I found it rather distracting....

Also thought that Anton and Erin should not really have been it... as their samba technique was rather shown up when with all the others.... But then again Anton and Laila are going to have to do Samba next week (obviously A needed the practice!)

But finishing on a high note.... Flavia and Vincent were simply ("strictly") superlatively (?) magnificent dancing to "Desde el Alma".
