Going with the rule that seems to be that no-one does more than two ballrooms or latins in a row, the definites are...

I know. If my predictions are correct then I'm looking forward to all the Americans Smooths but only Jade & Ian's Samba... I think it could be a good dance for her.

If they do and the dance as badly as tonight they could be walking a very tight rope.

She may be better at the samba because it's not as quick. She said it was the speed of the jive getting to her.

Laila definately said Samba in the Tesspitt.

Just to bring everyone up to snuff. American Smooth is not a dance, but a style. Just like International Latin consists of 5 dances, American Smooth consists of 4 Dances. It's funny isn't it? Most couples do a sort of foxtrot-based AS, while (I think it was) Vincent got a bit of a shout-out last year for doing a tango-based one.

But as far as I'm aware, they've yet to explain on SCD that AS is a style, not a dance with its own steps. I guess that's why Alan Dedicoat always says 'dancing American smooth' rather than 'THE AS' - but Tess could work a bit harder to make it clear.

I think Zoe will be top for definate because the judges will try to protect her and anyway it might be just that good.

Craig Jo and Laila all doing the Samba they will be bottom three on the board.

Samba tends to score quite low doesn't it? Plus we have several of the weaker couples attempting it so Craig and Jo bound to be near the bottom. And, as said earlier, the judges will be protecting Zoe so we can expect her to score top marks.

I reckon it's Jo's time. You know how it is - the judges will be wary after last week, they'll praise her, it'll look like she's improved a smidgen and WHAM! - the dance-off, where she wouldn't be saved against just about anybody. It happened to Lynda, it happened to Joe and it'll happen to her. Soon.

Mind you, I expect Laila's samba to be an even bigger car crash than Kate Garraway's...

Re Jo .....I think her ballroom had improved a bit but this Samba will be her first fast latin so I just cant see her pulling it off she is too floppy and need Brendan to keep hold of her. Can you do a Samba in hold 100% of the time

Thats okay- even for the car crash jive she got a 7 from Len!

I wonder what will happen with Jo this week- the samba is a tough first faster Latin to get

I am not an expert but I read last week that the only part of your body which should not be moving while doing the Samba are your bowels.
