It came a bit out the blue for me.

Not special enough for a perfect score.

What did you think?

It definitely wasn't worth a ten! How Alesha could even think it was on the same level as hers is unbelievable.

Surprise, surprise - it came from Alesha for a far less than perfect jive from Ricky W.

I may have defended her dodgy grammar - but as a judge she'd make a bloody good English teacher.

No, I didn't think so but the judges are obviously under orders to keep him in, he is the chosen one.

It looked pretty good to me! He had to lead that dance, has to be really hard, and he did so with ease.

Not at all Sid.

I created a similar thread just one minute after yours - have asked the mods to merge them.

How about Jade and Ian tonight - I'm daring to hope.

Smoochy, smoochy.

I don't think he deserved a 10, but I don't think he owes his survival to overmarking.

Definitely not worth '10' but not totally unexpected after Alesha's comments.

No. It was beautiful and I enjoyed watching it but a 10 should be for perfection and it wasn't perfect.

No...but I don't think it would be fair to pick on that questionable mark...though I suspect people will disproportionately.

The judges had a bad show generally tonight I felt.

definitely not. Is Alesha looking to see what marks Bruno is giving, too many times matching him, or being completely erratic.

Am finding the marking this series, vastly too high. We should not have the preponderance of 8's and 9's, or even 10

It was a very good dance, if a little charmless, probably deserved a 9.

I Preferred Jades though, i thought that should have been top of the board.

It wasn't a Jive. Maybe that is why you didn't think it was perfect

No.

I really liked his dance but it wasn't perfect to me.

As a said earlier, Alesha gave her detractors a big stick with which to beat her.

Jaysus! No! Never! Not in a million years! I thought Lisa Snowdon's 10s were about as bad as it could get but then we got tonight! I don't even know what to say!

His feet were absolutely appalling. It's up there with Bruno's illegal lift Kelly and Brendan 10.

But this series is so poor I can't even be bothered to be outraged.

Nope - spotted two mistakes with his footwork - worth only an 8

Oh dear!

Perhaps you should find a way to defend your less than perfect dance knowledge!

the only dances that were worth an 8 or above tonight came from jade, ricky and phil (undermarked again)

everyone else needs to step up - and the judges need to tone down their marks

no way was laila's jive the same mark as phil's VW Len, come on!

They don't need an excuse. I wouldn't mind, but last series the judges handed out 10's like sweets, but because Alesha has given a 10, it's now going to be a big issue about her not knowing what she is doing

Nothing could be on par with that travesty. This was probably equilalent to John Barnes Salsa 10 from Len

You're right of course.

Good company - good food - too much vino.

Still wasn't worth 10.

I agree Sid - definitely not worthy of a ten.

If Craig gives a ten then it IS a ten!

Hey you <smooch>

I have been singing Jade & Ian's praises everywhere (even nipped into their AT!).

They stole the show.

Loved, loved, loved their dance
