Is it just me who thinks this, or do they murder quite a few of the songs? I think they're good with the slower numbers, but some of the faster or more dramatic ones (e.g. for the paso) lack the sort of 'punch' the originals do?
I thought this last year when Matt and Christine danced to Christina Aguilera's Fighter. Tonight I thought Modern Love sounded weak (though I'm not sure about it as a choice for a jive anyway). I wonder what it's like when you've trained all week to a particular version and then it sounds a bit wishy-washy on the night. I wonder if it throws people off their dancing.

there was definitely a mistake in joe's song tonight. i think the band is generally better than the singers!!

I'm definitely tiring of that woman's voice. It's a relief when a man sings.

I think a change of singers would be good.
Lance Ellington is superbly versatile but a change may be nice.

I usually think the band is generally OK, the male singer has his moments, but really, someone should put the female singer out of her misery.

The musicianship of SCD is generally, and has always been pretty poor......

I think the band and the singers are excellent. The female singer loved her singing last night "At Last" and "Mad about the Boy". The male singer singing "This is a man world." Really good singers.
