Mine messed up tonight.

The F1 moved to BBC2 at 7:30 and my series link for HIGABMNFY moved to 9:30 but then when the F1 finished at 8:45 I noticed the cached EPG start time for HIGABMNFY was indicating 9:45 and the HIGABMNFY series link was actually tracking the Gandhi program.

Did a full EPG refresh and it sorted itself out. Yet another instance where I have to babysit the HDR

Just out of interest for those that had the F1 on series link did it cope with the move to BBC2 and record the remainder?

I'm pretty certain no PVR would ever cope with a channel change - the broadcaster doesn't have a way of saying that the channel has changed, the box just sees the program ending on one channel and stops the recording.

My series link for higabmnfy (what an acronym) worked fine though. I sat and watched it to make sure it was going to be ok, and it was. Started on the ident.

The only reason I asked about the F1 was because the BBC2 showing had a series CRID (which matched BBC1) so in theory the PVR should have seen it as an extra "episode" in the whole series (if that makes sense).

Good point, although it would have had the same programme ID, so when the box saw it it would think that it's already recorded.

No it didn't.

I was fuming! Not only did it not record SCD it also lost the end of F1. Good old BBC...I suppose thats why we pay a licence fee. After much faffing I managed to get SCD (HD) after the changes to the EPG but lost a large chunck of F1!

Graham.

Not surprised it didn't record with a name like that.
