Well even if she did sing "Live" there's no denying that the song, the performance, the outfit and most of all her voice was absolute CACK! - I dread to think what her album will be like if that's the best she can do for the lead single.

I give up. People just don't listen anyway. You believe she sang live if you want. At least it makes you happy.

She actually sang half and mimed the other parts (in particular the bridge, and parts of the chorus)

she was really bad tho!

IMHO, she sounded 18.74% less live than Alex, but 46.29% more than Whitney.

??? .... im far from a whiney supporter, but whitney totally outclassed cole in her live performance.

totally agreed, it was pitiful and to think she has sent home BETTER performers is rather ironic.

I'm losing the will to live.

Yeah, i thought it was live as she went to the seat after bla bla. I thought it was a good performance!

OK it was "Live" in the sense that she performed at 8.30 and the show went out at 8.30, some of her vocals seemed "as live" and may have been recorded earlier, others, were live as she performed

As reported by most of the press today, she sang the first verse then everything else was mimed to a pre recorded vocal track.
It was blatantly obvious as the vocal was not mixed properly with the rest of tr track.

It's also the reason she used that huge microphone and held it so close to her face added with the fact that there were absolutely no close ups.

Loving the article which shows a picture of the kandy rain singer wearing hhe exact top that cheryl wears!!

It's weird how a pre-recorded vocal still sounded flat!

The blatant Janet Jackson 'Rhythm Nation' routine rip-off was OK.

It was obvious it was live

She wasn't at her chair, Dermot spoke to her and then Cheryl went and hugged simon.

No one's questioning that the performance was pre-recorded. I think it's still questionable if her singing was though.

I still don't like the song, but the dancing was good.

as ive just posted on another thread... the papers reckon it wasnt all live, starting live but switched to miming, according to an audience member " it was obvious she switched as she started poor but suddenly got better"...

either way, it was cack.
