Laurel and Ashley - how funny?
Ok, I know in real life they probably wouldn't even go near each other, but how funny was the whole dinner situation tonight? Particularly when Laurel tried to make excuses to leave...
anyone agree? I can see some funny stuff coming up with those two in the future

This is already driving me mad! How many people would really eat something they are allergic to on a first date. Why didn't the silly cow just say 'actually i'm allergic to fish'? And it's not as if they've only just met, they were quite good friends already and often eat at the Woolpack, you'd think he'd know if she was allergic to fish, or at least check before he cooked it! i can see this driving me mad, i think i mught have to take an Emmerdale break until the storyline's over!

They may have been good friends before hand but Laural is still worried that it's all a dream and she isn't good enough for him..... A bit like he was when Bernice said she would go out with him |

I love seeing those two together - and Laurel is looking quite lovely at the moment. Love has done her the world of good.
Its nice to see some good relationships in a soap - like Laurel and Ashley, and Alan Turner and Shelley

It's been dead funny, Laurel as a character is truly brilliant as is the actress who plays her.
I'm just not too fond of them as a couple...Ashley and Louise were excellent together, very underrated (although it seems many agree with me actually). |

i agree the dinner storyline was silly, but the two actors did their best with it.comedy storylines in soaps are not easy to pull off.i think ashley and chas would go better together.
