I agree with all the bolded ones.

Also, as well as my previous Wombats and Vampire Weekend;
- You me At Six
- JLS.
Rubbish!

Vampire weekend

I just like to thank most american rappers and R&B for singers for destroying the music in this decade.

most of those bands like Razorlight, Scouting for girls, the Kooks, Maroon5 etc had 1 or 2 big hits, and then lots of subsequent songs that sounded just the same!

Disagree with the Darkness though, they were fun for 1 album (noone bought the 2nd, so it almost doesn't count) and weren't intended to be a proper band really.

worst for me has to be the Libertines though, never has one band been so over hyped, I coulden't name you one song of their dreary, stoned mumbling. Yet they are hailed by some as the 3rd coming of Jesus. And lets not forget they gave the world Pete Doherty.

Too true

I didn't bother to name many of them, there's just so many bad ones.

Until the chorus I can't tell the difference between Scouting For Girls songs. Even then it's tricky.

For me, probably all the identikit, sound exactly the same but yet people argue who's better, manufactured puppet-pop bands and those that won a game show to sell a record.

I think Black Eyed Peas are really awful - normally I like the R&B songs that are in the charts, but I've never liked a single song of theirs. I find their music extremely offputting.

Arctic Monkeys, by far the most overrated band ever.

The Feeling. They sing just cack filled tripe.
Scouting For Girls. As above.
Black Eyed Peas.
Kings Of Leon. Very, very overrated.
Blue.

Westlife. They've been very successful, but that doesn't mean their material matches it. They're terrible and the amount of covers they've done recently is shocking.

I cannot stand the Arctic Monkeys, easily the worst, they permanently sound drunk, its a wonder they aren't sick in the middle of recordings...

I bet that you look good on the dance bleuhr.... *sick*

Westlife. They cannot think of their own song so they nick already existing ones to cover.

Sugababes.

Westlife by a country mile

Probably the worst group ever , never mind this decade .
Their 'music' is second hand , drippy tosh .

To think they have had 14 UK No. 1s shows the gullibility of the record buying public in the UK .

At least the USA hasn't fallen for their rehashed barely melodic garbage .

I forgot Metro Station! A late entry but a bloody awful one. Their haircuts alone make me want to kill, and that's before you get to their faux-punk songs.

Kasabian
Metro Station

I disagree with Kings Of Leon, they're very mainstream now but they've recorded some fantastic stuff. But yes its been a pretty appaling decade on the music front, its all so superficial and manufactured and samey, eurghh

Barring the obvious like The Jonas Brothers, I would say Keane and Snow Patrol, both bands annoy be greatly.

Can't agree with the Arctic Monkeys I absolutely love their first album one of the best of the decade.
