DECT Wireless Phone Line Extender
I have a DECT Wireless Phone Line Extender ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?moduleno=97658 ) i am using it to plug in a sky box to the phone line, when the extender is plugged in and working it affects my landline, calling out is fine but calls coming in cut off at the callers end and our phone stops ringing after one ring, with extender unplugged all works fine.
Has anyone used these and had the same problem?? If so how did you reslove it?? Thanks |

Where is the ADSL filter for the Skybox in relation to the extender units ? At the wall phone socket side or the Skybox side ?
Should be the former as I think these units only transmit telephone frequencies. I don't have these but was thinking of getting them for a relative's FAX machine, so would be interested in the usable range. |

Post #4 on the thread below ?
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=677899 It's stated on that thread that these units should work okay with Sky+HD. |

Is there a select switch on the units for modem/other set to modem as mentioned in the thread quoted ?
Apart from trying another ADSL filter in master socket, sorry don't know what else to suggest... |
