Yeah, good song. Pity they never really capitalised on the success of that one.

Interesting thing about Brimful of Asha, is that the song people remember wasn't actually the Cornershop version, but a remix by Norman Cook.

The backing track to this video is the one that was on the radio constantly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSApUwelRso

Whereas this is the Cornershop version

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDe6regyJnU

A similar thing with Tequila by Terrorvision. The version that charted was a remix.

The remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hLQCA2h8kA

If you're referring to Gorky, then no - the first few were definitely from the nineties.

On a side note i'm surprised with how cruel history has been to 'The Lightning Seeds' they had at least 5 good songs in the charts in the mid to late 90s.

Fool's Garden - Lemon Tree.

I remember this well from late summer 1996. I was on holiday in the Med, a couple of months before it charted in the UK (I remember Mark Goodier saying on Radio 1's chart show that it had sold over 3 million, but it only got to #26 here), and it was being played everywhere, along with Los Del Rio's Macarena.

Both charted in the UK afterwards, and probably because of Brits hearing them abroad during the summer. When I first heard it I thought it sounded like Sting.
