erm...am i missing something? the thread title is 'forgotten' tracks of the 90's.... are the lists posted here REALLY 'forgotten'?..
i was expecting tracks like 'flagpole sitta' (harvey danger), 'strumpet' (my lifes story), 'indie yarn' (trick baby) and 'dark therapy' (echobelly) ... minor hits that most HAVE possibly 'forgotten'... not major hits that are still being aired on mtv. stranglers - 96 tears electribe 101 - talking with myself kingmaker - 10 years asleep the levellers - this garden |

'Mr Loverman' by Shabba Ranks.
'House Call' by Maxie Priest. 2 seminal tracks that still sound great today. |

Andi Peters' Top 50 of the 1990s is on 4music at the moment.
Already played Reel 2 Reel, KWS, Take That, Vengaboys - Boom Boom Boom which they said was from 1991. Another researcher that needs sacking...

My favourite Lisa Stansfield solo single, with a brilliant chorus, from 1992:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDauj6eH_fw (The one she did with Coldcut, 'People Hold On' is my absolute favourite) Seal - The Beginning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEL0Wq9kX7c |

I love this one; it always 'picks me up' a little when I start singing it to myself:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lwthVtaocc Just so happy and, well, gay... in the Parisian sense, primarily, but still... |
