Was there anyone else that actually agreed with what Markus sadi about the "Green with Envey." slogan? I thought that there should have been a "?" at the end, rather a ".".

But other than that, I thought that he was a waste of space, and was very surprised when thr Project Leader brought him into the firing room with him, as the Donald told him not to, and said that if he did, he would fire him, and what does he go and do??, Why bring Markus of course!

I also liked the ladies car advert much more than the men's version, and the men's just looked like a slightly improved power-point presentation!

....and you'll find the following parts in the "Related videos" list to the right.

Marcus is a complete tool btw, IMO the second worst contestant ever on the US show (not including the celebrity versions, Dennis Rodman is the worst candidate by far)

I like Markus, yes he's an idiot but he's more 'up front' than the other blokes who seek safety in numbers and collective cowardice by 'being the majority'. No prospect of him winning or staying too long though (as Mr T said).

Yep, he was right in that respect. However, the bigger problem with that poster (IMHO) was the green car. For one it looked odd, but also, with "Green with envy" written above it (whether it has a question mark or not), anyone looking at the poster automatically assumes the statement must be refering to the car. So you are left thinking "Why is that car green with envy?", not "If I buy a Lamborghini people will admire it and be envious."

I agree and think Donald Trump showed a great deal of inconsitencey between the two episodes. In the first episode he allowed the women to say that Melissa's negativity caused the team to lose, even though there was no real evidence of her negativity actually doing this. Yet in the second episode, he chastised the men for 'ostracizing' Markus, and wouldn't allow them to blame the team loss on him, even though there was clear evidence that the guy could not do the job he was asked to do (both not following orders in the first meeting with the client and then not being able to do simple traffic control).

I liked the women's presentation better, however, to me the men's effort at least actually stayed somewhat to the brief that the client gave them, that being 'rebirth'. The women's advert didn't seem to have any actual vision behind it other than your standard car ad.

The girls though had an argument that they had only lost by one sale and team unity might have cost them it. They hadn't made as many big mistakes or even as many tactical errors. The whole concept was wrong for the boys team. The boys then compunded it by not doing what Trump had told them and at least bringing one of the concept team back into the boardroom. You don't get the job by ignoring what the boss says and playing hard with him to try and force him to get rid of someone he has said wasn't crucial to the failure.

the women did better but they just showed how good kendra was on the previous series designing a car advertising campaign that the company took up, virtually on her own.

But that argument can work both ways. Which do you think cost them more sales, one person's negativity or the fact that their main promotional material implied their workouts were porn related? (Not to mention the fact that when they were out passing out leaflets, you had 4 of the women all going around together, instead of splitting up and covering more ground).

Don't get me wrong. Even though I don't think she cost them the task, Melissa ultimately deserved to go, simply for not being able to keep her mouth shut in the Boardroom, for making the statement about women not being able to work with her and for not throwing the "We only lost by one sale and it was your negativity that lost us that sale" right back in their faces.

Oh yeah, it was a huge mistake only bringing Markus back in the Boardroom. And as innept as he was, I don't think Markus cost them the task so shouldn't have been fired. It just bugged me that DT didn't take the same attitude with the women as he did with the men (i.e. 'despite what you all say, you may not like this person but they didn't cost you your task, so who did?') or take the same attitude with Markus as he did with Melissa (i.e. 'all these people ar e telling me they can't work with you and that you cost them the task, what's your problem?'. )

Did anyone else not like Mellissa from the moment she played the "Hispanic" card on the table? When she said something to the extent of "I am Hispanic, so I know what is best", that was the moment for me, that I started to dislike her, I mean I am a white male, does that mean I speak for the whole of the white male population??

I am glad she has gone, as with an attitude like that, (I cannot work with other women), I just don't know how she has made it in the business world to begin with!

I expected him to fire Kristi, and the only reason I think he didn't is that Melissa showed herself to be unemployable in her final boardroom. She said she couldn't work with women. That was fatal. She couldn't stop talking and talked herself out of a job.

Markus was more business as usual. He came across relatively well in the boardroom, and the focus was on Chris instead. It didn't help that there were clearly identified errors made by people Chris could have brought in, but didn't. Plus this is the second time the leader had brought in one person instead of two, and that needed knocking on the head.

Also, it helped that Markus seemed to be right. Melissa didn't have that going for her.

God help us, I am this and that....and don't think I could look at this after all, as I might break me telly next time I hear one of those pathetic females bigging herself up.

The Girls are all liabilities! Sack em! I prefer Sir Alan who has more edge than Donald has. Just my feeling about it, how about you?

Usually the initial tasks are low key, hopefully they get better towards the end.
