Agreed 3 judges would take less time in between dances so make to show shorter(far too long at mo)
But Craig Len and Karen Hardy for me, less show busy and more ballroom/latin biase please
Three judges would be a good idea - it works on DWTS. Just get rid of Bruno - used to love him when he started, but now he is just so OTT he is a total embarrassment.
I think that would increase the chances of ties....assuming each mark was out of 10 still....and that's not a good thing with the silly new scoring system.

I think that there is something to be said for having a Len type judge, an ex-pro from the show and more of a choreographer type like Craig and that would be the right balance and keep the show tighter. I just feel that four is a better number to help spread the scoring. I'd look for a fourth judge who is also of Len's type, though probably a woman.
Take pity on the poor cameraman who has to keep the bouncing Bruno in shot. Bring back Arlene, keep Craig and bring in Karen Hardy for a panel of three with Arlene as "Head Judge" if one is needed.

Not against the idea of Arlene returning, but surely the'head judge' needs to be someone from the world of ballroom and Latin?

And someone who can bring a coherent sentence in at under three minutes.
Three judges is a really good idea. I would like to see someone well-known and respected:
My ideal panel would be:
Len
Karen Hardy
Una Stubbs or Lionel Blair
Before Strictly I had never heard of Bruno or Craig and after last Saturday's performance I would be quite happy never to see them again. It would be nice to see a panel who don't undermine the celebrities, give constructive criticism and judge contestants kindly without resorting to catty "animal imagery".
Chewbacca: RAWWWWWWWWWWW
Dr Who: The performance was bigger on the inside than out
Dr McCoy: THat dance was dead Jim
Head Judge Dr SMith: The pain...THE PAIN!!
