The only music review I've ever taken notice of is music that I have reviewed myself. The last album I bought, everyone picked out a certain song and said how amazing it was and the reviews all mentioned it but as soon as I heard that song, I absolutely hated it! I found it to be the worst song on the album...
Luckily enough, most of the music I like doesn't attract reviews and the stuff that does, it's usually a load of vitriolic rambling by some poncey air-head who masturbates over Mariah Carey type dross.
