Both albums are a little generic, however Cheryl's stands out as a more artistic album than Alexandra's. That's okay though because Alex can't take that chance yet, she's on her first album. Love both album, Cheryl's is a little more interesting, but the ballads on Alex's are amazing.
And well done Cheryl.

Better famous and rolling in it than bitter and boring.

Maybe for you. I wouldn't want to be rolling in it by being a chav with no talent, let's not even talk of being famous, that i certainly would not want to be... my self esteem had to be really down if i looked up to Cheryl Cole, do you look up to Cheryl Cole?

I don't see how she is a chav at all.

I wouldn't say i look up to her but i would say I am a cheryl cole fan.

Yes, A chav with a criminal record that can't sing , with no education married to a footballer. Exactly the person i expect my children emulate.

i'm not a fan, let alone a "fangirl", of cheryl's. i did say that in my post.

I hope Simon Cowell is happy with all his millions of pounds, because with trash like X Factor winners being number 1 all the time he's effectively killed the music industry.”

did they really? i didn't know that

i hav to say, i am getting a little bored of these ridiculously high sales of singles, just because the artist has appeared on x factor. would cheryl have got anywhere near the amount she has sold this week if it wasnt for the x factor?? not a chance!!

Aww, good for her.

Don't get me wrong, she annoys me, and I personally think the single is poop- but it's no worse than a lot of the crap that gets to no1 these days- and she seemed so nervous performing it, like she had little confidence in it, so should be a pleasant surprise.

You're telling me. I hope this isn't going to be another case of Boyle mania the second. Cheryl's performance was definitely NOT as good as this hype's making her out to be.

well it was mimed, everyone worked that out for themselves so you couldnt possibly tell she was nervous, her microphone was always DEAD CLOSE to her mouth, audience/viewers would have definately heard breathing, plus, they never showed any close-up of her face which immediately implies MIME ARTIST.

I definitely didn't hear any breathing from her when singing. I found this strange because I've heard the others breathing when singing.

she was miming, papers said she was 'partly miming' but i think it was fully imo, noticed at the end when she spoke to dermot her microphone was kinda ecko'ey but how come it werent when she was singing......

I really like this song but I'm surprised at how well it's doing. However, I'm happy that it's doing so well

How much do you think 10 minutes advertising at peak time on ITV1 costs?

Nice cushty system they have there, free advertising for yourself and all your acts on your label, AND get paid for it.

You would think the advertising standards agency woud have something to say.

Not forgetting Westlife this weekend so another tie in to the system.

I detest cheryl. I think she represents everything that is wrong with our culture.

However I do love this track!!

If you don't breathe, you die.

I dont think she did mime. I heard her breathing and she was out of tune for a lot of the performance. It was live. The dancing was really good though.

I think this will be it for Girls Aloud now. I reckon Simon will be tellin Cheryl her solo career is a bigger gig. Which of course it now is. He'll be advising her to quit the band I bet.
