Love the thread idea, but must first apologise for my very strange taste in music .

Ali and Brian - "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill - Could work quite well actually.
Chris and Ola - "Whenever Wherever" by Shakira - Meh, hopefully not.
Craig and Flavia - "I Miss You" by Avril Lavigne - Don't think we really need to be concerning ourselves with one for them but far too slow regardless.
Jade and Ian - "A Whole New World" from Aladdin - Would love a ballroom showdance.
Jo and Brendan - "Breathe Slow" by Alesha Dixon - No! No! No!
Laila and Anton - "Maybe" from Annie - That could work well, ballroom at least
Natalie and Vincent - "Just Can't Get Enough" by The Saturdays - Bit predictable, a lot of her just skipping around, shaking what she can.
Phil and Katya - "Memories" from Cats - Already been used by Alesha for VW (the one according to Tess that got 40)
Ricky and Erin - "Home" by Michael Buble - Ballroom really isn't his thing, but a good song nevertheless
Ricky and Natalie - "The Winner's Song" by Geraldine McQueen - I forgot I had this one . In the case of this couple I truely hope it doesn't happen.
Zoe and James - "Bad Boys" by Alexandra Burke - HA! Very fitting...

Well that was fun

Ricky and Natalie - make a move on me (joey negro)
Ali and Brian - when you touch me (taana gardner)
Zoe and James - pink sunshine (we've got a fuzzbox and we're gonna use it)
Chris and Ola - I would do anything for love (but I won't do that)
Jade and Ian - ain't no mountain high enough (marvin and tammi)
Laila and Anton - mack the knife (frank sinatra)
Jo and Brenda - California dreaming (mamas and papas)
Natalie and Vinthent - stomp (brothers johnson)
Craig and Flav - vienna (ultravox and the most boring song I can think of)
Phil and Katya - southern freeze (freeze)
Ricky and Erin - everybody needs somebody (blues brothers)

showdance songs should be BIG - and I think my last choice is inspired

This'll show up my bad taste in music.

Ali and Brian - No Limit (2 Unlimited)
I can see Bruce doing a cringeworthy joke to the title now.

Chris and Ola - FIFA World Cup 2002 Anthem (Vangelis)
I said my taste in music was bad.

Craig and Flavia - Oops Upside Your Head (The Gap Band)
The moves could be simple with this one.

Jade and Ian - Set Me Off (The Saturdays)
Would be good for something Latin based.

Jo and Brendan - Always Where I Need To Be (The Kooks)
I sense another Brendan masterpiece with this one.

Laila and Anton - Blame it on the Boogie (The Jackson 5)
Tht title is a good excuse when it all goes wrong.

Natalie and Vincent - I Love to Boogie (T Rex)
I like this one for these two.

Phil and Katya - Boom Shake the Room (Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince )
Car crash TV but it'd be great.

Ricky and Erin - Wake Up Boo! (The Boo Radleys)
This could work well.

Ricky and Natalie - Boom (Anatascia)
Boom as his ego hits the room presumably.

Zoe and James - Mercy (Duffy)
James: let Ola choreograph this, please.

Ali and Brian - Time For Miracles - Adam Lambert
Chris and Ola - You Know I Will - Lucas Grabeel
Craig and Flavia - Romeo - Basement Jaxx
Jade and Ian - Mercy - Glee cast version
Jo and Brendan - Tubthumping - Chumbawumba (it's off a compilation album, I promise )
Laila and Anton - Ikea - Jonathan Coulton
Natalie and Vincent - Pull Shapes - The Pipettes
Phil and Katya - Fool Moon - Laura Bell Bundy
Ricky and Erin - Smiley Faces - Strictly Come Dancing OST
Ricky and Natalie - Big Brown Eyes - Old 97's
Zoe and James - Bubbly - Colbie Caillat

To quote many others before me "this I would pay good money to see" I think Brendan may even be able to top last years effort with this song

Well as a Forum I think I can say that we have a very "eclectic" taste in music

In a good way of course

Can we play this game every week??

Starting on a Saturday night when someone is voted off, can we then make our new weekly selection ?

Ali&Brian - Little Lion Heart - Mumford and Sons

Chris&Ola - Barbasol - David Cook

Craig&Flavia - O' Fortuna (not really seeing that one working too well )

Jade&Ian - Knocking on Heavens Door - Ruth Lorenzo

Jo&Brendan - Sweet Disposition - Temper Trap (the title has amused me in relation to Brendan)

Laila&Anton - French Navy - Camera Obscura

Natalie&Vincent - Kids MGMT

Phil&Katya - Ohh La La - Goldfrap (I actually think that tune could work as a showdance)

Ricky&Erin - Little Sparrow - David Cook

Ricky&Natalie - American Girl - Tom Petty

Zoe&James - Ayo Technology - Milow (possibly a bit too raunchy for Len)
I was intrigued when you said this song might be too raunchy so I had to hear it... been listening to it all afternoon

My music collection is very weird and varied, so pardon some of the strange choices here!

Ali & Brian : Ain't It Funny - Jennifer Lopez

Chris & Ola : Why Can't You Behave (from Kiss Me Kate)

Craig & Flavia : Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz. Humm, don't think so!

Jade & Ian : Sing For Absolution - Muse

Jo & Brendan : Zombie Fight from the film Stardust
Hahahaha! Oh dear!

Laila & Anton : Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Michael Buble
That could work?

Natalie & Vincent : Bounce - System of a Down
No comment

Phil & Katya : Every Sperm is Sacred - Monty Python
I would pay good money to see anyone dance to that!

Ricky & Erin : I Got Trouble - Christina Aguilera

Ricky & Natalie : He Can Only Hold Her - Amy Winehouse

Zoe & James : Money - The Flying Lizards
