Buddy I feel very much the same as you, and Bhoy1888, I would like to explain, in a civilised and reasoned manner, why.

First of all, the forums are for everyone, no matter what their opinion or allegiance, provided that they are in line with what the mods deem acceptable.

That is without question, and your opinions are and should be just as respected as anyone else's.

What gets MY back up most of all about your posts is that, yes, fair enough, you have a very strong allegiance to Craig Kelly and that is your right to have that and to say so on here, but the issue I have is that your posts constantly and relentlessly bang on and on and on and on, saying the same thing over and over again, and starting up new threads to say the same thing repeatedly.

And when someone has a different opinion to you, you often retort with some kind of crowing post like the one in another thread to Daisy Lane where she made a reasoned post and you retorted with "well he's coming home " etc etc..........you REALLY should respect the comments others make whilst still holding on to your own opinion and being able to state it lucidly on here, without just banging on and on with the same thing all the time.

That is what is driving so many people mad about your posts.

I say this with the greatest of respect because you most certainly should be able to post on this forum your thoughts and feelings - but what may seem like fun to you is just irritating to people who like to have new and fresh discussion threads on the front page, and constant starting of repetitive threads on the front page of the SCD forum just does not allow this to happen.

You may argue that people do not have to read your posts, and that is true, but it is very hard to avoid you since your posts, saying the same thing, seem to be in every single thread on the front page!

for example, this year, many people were annoyed by having to constantly read the adoring posts of particular celebs' fans - and a vote was taken, and our appreciation threads for various people were moved up to the Attic and so it is easy to avoid those if you do not wish to read this sort of thing.

You would be better to have your comments in a Craig Kelly appreciation thread instead of littering up the front page with all these threads, then people who would be interested in discussion about Craig could go there and read your posts and discuss them with you.

The front page is not the place for the kind of posts you make, under the forum's current system.

This is perhaps what is upsetting people so much about your posts.

I've got to say, I feel so irritated by it all that I would actually be willing to send you the £75 that you would win if CK made it to Blackpool, if you would only stop doing this and CK could go out next week and put a lot of us out of our misery.

It's unfair of you to say that people don't have a sense of humour just because they don't appreciate multiple threads on the same topic.

A number of posters have politely suggested that you take your enthusiasm for Craig to the Appreciation threads but you are choosing to ignore them.

Oh well, I'm leaving your threads alone from now on too. Don't feel like giving any more of my time to a someone who appears to be mischief-making attention seeker.

Bhoy1888, I tried my best to explain as you asked (I know you asked Buddy, but I hoped my honest explanation might do in lieu of hers) - and I said it respectfully and fairly.

If you ask people to explain why you piss them off, then at least acknowledge they have tried to explain why - rather than making a comment like the one above.

I DO understand how difficult it can seem when you are a new poster, to fit into a forum where it seems like people have been posting for ages, and who all seem to understand the system, but longevity of posting does not give any one person the moral high ground, and I agree with Smokeychan1 that I would welcome your posts if you only could refrain from posting the same thing everywhere.

Like her (him? am sorry Smokeychan1 I don't know you very well! x) I wouldn't like to see you banished to the dog house either, but I was just trying to point out what was annoying people.

I still think I have only started 3 posts with regard to Craig over the last week all of them in my mind with different topics about him.

God this one we are writing in started off as nothing to do with Craig.It was about Flavia's abs

I admit last nights thread about him was an extra thread that perhaps didn't need started but as I said when I posted it I asked to be forgiven as I was just celebrating him being one more week closer to Blackpool

OK as a matter of curiosity I went and did a search on all the threads I have started with regard to Craig

1.Craig Kelly on Soccer am today
2.Craig gonna Blackpool etc etc
3.Does Craig have the support of Blackpool behind him
4.Craig and Flavia have most fans on appreciation

Thats 4 threads over 1 week.As I said I indulged myself a bit last night in thread 2 as I was happy he was still in but the other 3 threads are all different topics,

Surely thats allowed?If i did a search through all the threads of the last week would Craig be the only celeb to have 4 threads about him?

God you all have a go at me then when I take time out to reply not one of you has the decency to reply

I would like to reply to your post above.

I am sure you don't wish to offend anyone - none of us do - and of course you want to have some fun.

Nor have you committed the crime of the century - its a forum and it won't rock the world!

But like you say, when you are new and don't really know the rules - we've all been in that position and fallen foul of them before - and someone tries to explain what it is that is kind of not working, then it is probably a good idea to observe what people have to say and take it on board.

Everyone wants to be able to enjoy your posts like anyone else's.

But the problem is with yours is that you start threads all the time and always lead them into going on about the same thing, even though you think they are different.

You put them on there to keep on shoving in people's faces the fact that YOU want him to go to Blackpool. Well, we know that by now! And nothing wrong with that, but it would perhaps all be better in one thread. And what is fun for you to do, is not fun on a public forum where things are supposed to be for discussion and debate, unless it is in the Appreciation threads dedicated to one particular pro dancer or celeb.

You say that Craig can't be the only person to have four threads started about him in that time, and that is perhaps true, but they are not all started by the same PERSON!

There IS forum etiquette, that is what I was trying to say to you, and that is not particularly forum rules, but just natural SOCIAL etiquette, that you don't keep on and on banging the same thing in people's faces all the time - whether you think it is fun or not.

You haven't committed the crime of the century, no - but you are being astoundingly insensitive to your forum surroundings and in spite of being civilly answered, when you asked to be informed as to what was doing wrong, you don't take it on board - just simply sound stunned that you have done anything wrong in the first place.

If you ask, then at least listen to someone's answer and accept it, then post accordingly, still saying what you want to say.

If you can't accept that then it says more about you than it does about anyone else.

You DO have to give people time to reply to a post on a forum! Just because you are able to be on here at a certain time, doesn't mean to say that that is true of everyone.

In my case, I have a young family and so, on a Sunday when there are lots of demands elsewhere, I drift in and out of this SCD forum, and post when I can throughout the day.

Sunday night is usually spent doing other things - so it most certainly isn't that I didn't have the decency to reply!

I answered you with a long post, then I went off the forum for the night.

SO JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR POSTS SAY, sometimes!

Your posts indicate that you have a real lack of awareness of when to stop doing something, and when it IS ok to do it - and to make this kind of comment is very much out of order.

People ARE decent on here for the most part - there are some really lovely and thoughtful posters - but have you ever considered that perhaps, because your posts don't reply to people's particularly, and carry on in the same vein with your obsession with Craig getting to Blackpool, they may feel they would prefer not to reply because they would repeatedly get more of the same and then it would all go on and on?

This is my last post on the matter but I do wish you well and hope you keep posting - but just not so blindly and repetitively as you currently do.

I guess I don't take this forum as serous as you do on here and don't spend most of my time on here worrying about it.

In saying that I respect your right to care as passionately about it and after reading your comment and not necessarily agreeing with most of your theories I respect your right to hold theses philosophies

FGS stop being so humble and apologetic. If certain fms don't like your posts it is their problem not yours. I agree with you about Flavia's teeth btw.

I am new and am trying not to upset people but I agree with you that some people don't seem to like a different opinion from themselves
