Anyone got one?

I need to copy the contacts stored in the phone onto the SIM (SIM going into a new phone but has none of the contacts on it), but there doesn't seem to be a menu for this. I can find where to copy from SIM to phone, but not other way round.

Am I missing something?

Could I just bump this up?
There might be someone here who knows the solution - I still can't find the answer and i'm close to just writing down all the contacts and then manually entering them.

Hey Appleseed, have you tried the sim card in the new phone yet? The reason I ask is because some phones will only give you the option of copying from whichever phonebook memory is already in use. If your current phone is only giving the option to copy from the sim to the phone, it could be that all the entries your wanting to keep are already on the sim card.

The phone is telling me there are 0/230 stored on the sim, and 73/1000 stored on the phone. I thought maybe it might give me the option of copying back if I put in another SIM - but it doesn't.

In the 'copy' menu there is only 1 option - copy from SIM to phone, obviously this was done, but the ironic thing is that the phone asks you if you want to delete the original from the SIM, and this was done at the time as otherwise the whole phonebook gets duplicated.
Looks like I'll have to just write everything down and then transfer them to the SIM after it's been put in the new phone.

Oh well.....
