Good Music Programmes
What are some good music programmes on tv? There doesn't seem to be many. I guess there's T4 and Freshly Squeezed but all sky seems to have is Gonzo. The rest is just music videos...
Should this be in Music or Television? Bleh... |

They've seem to have all disappeared
![]() We should start a petition to have some good music shows on the main channels I would really love to have some regular live music again. I'm sick of the music channels - the same old manufactured auto-tuned rubbish, apart from some from the archives

There really isn't many music programmes on, which is sad. I would love for some more; the only one i watch is Later with Jools.

I like MTV's specials where they do like a half an hour special of a particular artists doing 4/5 live songs.

Transatlantic Sessions on BBC4/BBC 2 Scotland is good.

Later with Jools Holland seems to be the only credible one these days, and even that has its faults.

'Later' is well worth watching...though I've never been keen on Jools as a presenter (albeit he seems like a decent enough chap).

![]() They usually have one when a big act has an album coming out. It's interviews and performances of tracks they've released from that album, and some album tracks.

BBC red button has loads of stuff from the Electric Proms.
Doves or Robbie Williams at the moment (I'm watching Doves). |

I'd like some LIVE music programmes, like the old Top of the Pops.
It would be great also, if the old programme with a panel reviewing new music coming out (can't remember the name ) was on again - with a new panel of judges of course
