I'm sorry but i don't see how Alexandra and Rihanna are in the same niche.

I would put Alex nearer Lady Gaga.

If Ray Quinn can't crack the US then what chance does Alex have?...

Well I remember reading somewhere that while Alexandra was celebrating her no1 for bad boys she met Clive Davis and apprantly he got her album as they were at the same place. But I don't think that's why he came on the show.

The poster is clearly just being sarcastic.

I personally don't think she will but time will tell. I feel that most of her album is filler and the songs are too 'poppy'. She needs more of an urban edge. Unless she can get on huge shows which will get her some moderate success for her first project but after that I don't think she will continue to be successful after that.

She really should have recorded something like this:

But Pop is very popular at the moment - just take a look at GaGa and Ke$ha's success. Urban music isn't really that big in the US anymore. Electropop/pop is.

I wouldn't say the album is mostly filler. There's 5 or 6 potential hits on there. Plus, they're re-recording the album for a US release. So I expect them to get rid of some of the more random tracks (like Bury Me).

Yes pop is huge but the kind of pop that is popular is stuff like Kesha, Lady GaGa, Jay Sean and Rihanna (GGGB era) and no way is Alexandras music as strong. Its pretty weak, dated pop. Yes she may be recording new tracks but 'Bad Boys' will most probably be the lead single so I can't see the new songs being too different or groundbreaking. But who knows, maybe she will record a totally new lead single? Doubt it though.

And maybe, just maybe your wildly under-estimating Alexandra!

I think she has the talent to succeed, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Maybe I am. Who knows?

I was actually a fan of Alexandra during The X Factor but personally I don't feel she has been given the right material.
