Anyone else got signal problems with 3 in the NR postcode region?

No it just says what signal is available there, not if any work is going on.

Ok, 2 towns about 5 mins away from me have signal, but me and my wife can't get signal at all where we usually do in the house.
Could this still be due to mainenance work?! |

There are 34 NR postcode areas - can you narrow it down a bit?

NR10
They called back and said it could take up to 21 days so credited me with one months money. Does it say NR10 is down? If so, how do you check? |

Really? They said at first they thought maintainance was being carried out then took me through loads of steps on my phone. My wife went just outside NR10 and rang and said it was fine there, so how can it just go down in such a small town?!

Do you know where the site is? When you next pass, see if there's workmen there. |

I have the same thing here when it rains hard - T-Mobile goes of the air but driving a mile or so gives you a full signal

http://www.three.co.uk/maintenance is the link to check, tells you if there's any planned maintenance going on. I expect there'd be on-screen instructions and the like to follow...

No idea where the site would be, I take its a multi network mast though?! How would I find out where it is?

+1 for both points here, the former being the most annoying thing about T-Mobile (well, Virgin in my case, who use T-Mobile's network) - every time it rains, boom - the network's off for half an hour.

Or maybe there's never a '3' signal where you live (there's not here) and you're always using the fallback network - and it's that network that's down? |

3 use the o2 network. It keeps coming back but then going to limited service again.
Fed up of having barely any signal in my house. |

T-Mobile don't believe me you know - they say that if a site went off they'd know about it, and that no-one else complains!

Aren't they supposed to fall back onto Orange (or whoever it is this week) when there's no '3' signal available?

IMO though it's likely to be local work on OP's nearest 3 3G cell site to merge it with T-Mobile's 3G coverage, specially since in a subsequent post the OP has mentioned that 3G has shot up then gone back down again. |

Yes, Orange's 2G network is the fallback/roaming network outside 3's own 3G coverage areas, for all that's worth anyway. Frankly, 3's 3G is miles better than Orange's 2G here... although, to be fair, Orange's 3G is better than Orange's 2G here too.

What is 3 merging with T Mobile with their 3G service? This mean I should get better signal?
