I have money on Craig to win this and thought 2 weeks ago I had done my money but has been suggested earlier on that at wors he must have come 5th in the public vote last night could is campaign gain momentum and with a bit of improvement in his dances go on and do a Darren Gough and win this thing?

That's about as likely as Celtic winning the league this year

I really dont think Craig has got the dancing ability of Darren and last night was a fluke he will be out in the next 2weeks, i hope

Actually as I'm sure you have guessed form my nickname I am a bit of a Celtic fan I actually think that Craig probably has a better chance of winning SCD than Celtic have of winning the league

Nope he wont win.......dance off twice already......he got extra votes last night because of the Blackpool thing.....but still got to survive next week to even make that and I cant see it myself.

Dont you think if he can overcome his nerves then he may could perform a dance that could get him to 30 points?

He's actually got to survive two more weeks of live shows to make Blackpool - coz isnt it Blackpool on about 6th November... (and we have Sat 24th and Sat 31st).

Im a big Flavia and Craig supporter but I dont think they will win - partly because the judges (and the BBC) seem to have it in for them.

However I do think they stand a chance of getting through to Blackpool if only the judges would give them a chance.

OP your money is right at the bottom of the bookies pocket, next to the money I put on Richard Dunwoody before the series started!

Of course they can win.
And Brendan Cole can win an award for behaving like an adult.

It'll never happen....

ooh yes your right I have lost a week !!!!! two more weeks. Sara you know I am a Flavia fan but Craig really isnt improving sufficiently to go much further. I did think they were harsh on him last night as all the jives were a bit eeeekkkk and I want to see Jo go before him (she hasnt even attempted a fast latin yet) but after that unless he has improved spectacularly better dancers than him will be going home for him to stay.

I think Flavia needs to get a big stick out and lay it on the line I think.......only so much that encouragement and hard work can do. Hope they have the Samba next week he needs a faster more free dance I think than ballroom

Well all is not lost for me winning money.Let me explain

I have £3 on Laila to win at 10/1=£30
I have £5 on Chris to win at 10/1=£50
I have £3 on Craig to win at 25/1=£75

So my preferred option would be Craig as I would win more money but I still think I got an outside chance with the other 2.

I actually mainly bet on Laila rather than Zoe as I thought Anton would get a lot of support as I thought he was one of the most popular dancers never to have one this thing

I think now maybe Anton will not be as popular as I thought

I'm waiting to see who gets which dance next week. If both Craig and Jo get the samba we can expect two train wrecks, and then it'll come down to which of them is better at puppy-eyed begging in the Tess interview. That person will escape the dance-off.
Lancastrians everywhere, your boy needs you!

He and Jo are now the weakest dancer left in the show. He'll be very lucky to make it to Blackpool...

I really don't think that is a big factor in the scheme of reasons why they definitely will not be winning

I've also got £10 @ 9/1 on Jade and Ian winning. My bet on Richard was for the highest finishing male celeb. I did both bets before the series started hoping to get good odds, but you can get 10/1 on them now!

Well in between the first show on the Friday and the second on a Saturday I tried to put money on Chris and Martina but the bookie had suspended the betting.

He saved me money on Martina lol

So before the second group danced I bet on Chris as his odds were still good and I thought he and Ola did well in week 1

I watched IT2 on the Wednesday before group 2 danced and Craig and Flavia were getting the best comments in the training and I saw there odds of 25/1 so I thought that was to good to be true

I explained about Laila why I picked them

My main annoyance was when the couples were announced my g/f said Ali Bastain would be good and popular

I saw her odds at 14/1 and i never had a bet on her at these odds

I'm a complete novice really! I've only bet on one other show before and that was when I bet on Jodie Prenger to win 'I'd Do Anything' and I won! I had £20 on her to win at 10/1!

PS I got £20 added to my account as a bonus when I opened it, so it was pure profit!

Well I got to be honest I am really surprised I have all 3 of my horses still in the competition and only 10 or is 11 left

I don't think so, no. He is as awful now as the first time he danced and he hasn't huge amounts of public support. He may limp through a few more weeks though.

I don't think he has the dancing ability or the personality.
