I would say Holly Robinson is most famous for 21 Jump Street (awesome show), but she was never an A-lister.
Curtis Stone is the only person on the men's team I hadn't heard of. There are quite a few on the women's team. I've heard of 6 out of 7 of the men, but only 3 out of 7 of the women this year, and it was similar in previous years.”
The person I was asking that of was not in the US. And I don't believe either IS known in the UK. Certainly not better known than Cyndi Lauper who is a world wide music star. I have been informed the Hanging with Mr. Cooper was shown in the UK, the sitcom that she starred in. I don't remember her from 21 Jump Street so I don't agree that she's most well known for that myself.
I've heard of Goldberg and I don't like or watch wrestling. Again can't say if he would be known in the UK. Don't think so but no idea. He is more well known than most wrestlers outside of wrestling. He's a big personality and very likable and does a lot of charity work which is where I know him from.
What I was saying had nothing to do with their celebrity in the US, it was about their celebrity in the UK. Cyndi is BIG, she's not stopped touring in all these years. She's not a star from 20 years ago, she's still a star 20 years on.
