BBC interactive on Freesat ?

I want to record the BBC Electric proms concert featuring Doves, this is currently on the BBC interactive channel 301 on Freevew, the question is why can't i get the BBC interactive channels on Freesat ?

or can i and i've not looked hard enough

i'm using a Humax HDR

i couldn't find Robbie on Freesat and watched the steam on 301 freevuiw

They exist and are transmitted, but unless you have a Panasonic Freesat TV, you can't tune to them.

Everyone is waiting on the BBC to write a front end to access the streams.

The BBC Electric Proms are not on the Freesat Red Button service this year - see the "Press Red" blog:

thanks for the replies, currently recording it on my hummy freeview recorder, hopefully not on a section of the HDD that has been corrupted

what has the Pansonic freesat box got that the Hummy hasn't

It's on iplayer and the electric proms website if it's any consolation.

The streams are transmitted as bog standard FTA streams. Only the Panasonic TVs can pick them up properly in non-freesat mode though apparently.

If you can, please post here how you did it It's only on a PC that you can save for later viewing, the PS3 (like the Foxsat will be, when/if it gets the iPlayer upgrade) can only display the streamed programme in 'real-time'. What a missed opportunity.

Enjoy the red button in top right as it recorded that too on my recording

i've found that if you get the transmission with the blue menu button on instead of the red button, the blue button disappears after a while

Or it might be worth pressing the green button - on the normal channels this gets rid of the read button immediately.
