Good grief, there are only 11 couples left! Only 11. How did that happen?

It promises to be a samb-omination!

Embrace the Christmas spirit! I have a packet of mince pies sitting in the cupboard, begging to be eaten.

Time to feed it with plenty of booze then!

I once made a cake so early and fed it with so much brandy you could almost see the fumes rise when it was cut. A single slice and one would fail the breathalyser.

Haha, ironically I actually hate all the "traditional" Christmas desserts (including mince pies ), I just enjoy baking too much to pass up the opportunity! So, I'm actually not even going to taste what I've made today - it's for the rest of the family (I'll just have a bowl of Vienetta! ).

Slightly off topic but couldnt really find any other thread to post it.....

During the week on ITT they often show what happens on a Saturday (you know, someone reporting behind the scenes etc.).

My question is.....why do all the dancers have their make up done so early (its like 10.00am)...when the show doesnt start until the evening?

Really looking forward to this evening's show!

Doubly excited because I'm on half term and going on holiday tomorrow! Hurray!

Also - I'm loving the pudding themed discussion on here!

I think, its maybe because there is so many to do if you count the males, females, judges and Bruce and Tess...so all in all theres 28 for tonight to get hair, make up and tan topped up!....

And they have to be already made up etc for the dress rehearsals I think so they can see how the full effect is on camera and what needs changing.

When I do my hair and make-up in the morning for the day it's all smudged/flattened by lunchtime. They must be faffing with it all day mustn't they.

Gosh, you wouldn't want them to look silly on camera, would you?

Don't you really mean they conduct the rehearsals precisely so they WILL make them look as heinously unattractive and ridiculous as possible!

Zoe's hair. Laila's comedy-goat. Ricky Groves' sweaty face. Darren's improbable chest. Ian's trousers. They need time to achieve these looks!
