Yes, it was really lovely. Not perfect for me though. Still she certainly deserved top spot.

I loved their dance tonight. I've supported them from day one and they've never disappointed me but i've been waiting for that magic moment that i knew they had the potential for.

They definitely delivered tonight. Go Team Awesome

She is back up there as a contender. for sure And the wardrobe people should stop dressing her in pastel colours, as that bright dress tonight was simply stunning.

I hope Brian continues to use simpler choreography so that she can get into the dances more. It was really beautiful tonight.

Agreed, Buddy. She looked stunning in that bright orange.

Her dance was, undoubtedly, beautiful but I can't warm to her at all.

Yes really loved it, she sparkled tonight. And the dress was absolutely perfect-much prettier than I'd thought it was going to be after the drawing on ITT. After last weeks tears and dejection it was lovely to see her spirits raised. Well done Ali !

That is my problem though. Is a simple routine, impeccably executed, better than a more difficult routine with faults.
I know everyone will disagree, but I found it rather dull.
Very good dull..but still dull.

That's the thing with choreography. You cannot please everyone out there in tv land. Too complicated and people complain about too much going on, too simple then complaints about dullness.

I find her a bit drippy, but the dance was great. sadly I dont think she'll win it. Personality counts too. She's nice enough, but just a bit...dare I say it.. wet!.. Sorry Ali, you do dance beautifully.

All of the dances tonight were a bit dull. Ali and Brian's suffered from that less than at least most of the others.

Did you like Ali's dances any better when the choreography was more difficult?

I do prefer watching complex routines with plenty of tricks and intricate moves, even if they go a bit wrong.

The 'safe' dancers like Zoe do nothing for me.

However, with the American Smooth, the lifts provide enough wow factor to make up for a simple routine. And Ali's lifts were gorgeous.

It wasn't the most "Whoa" AS ever, but it's possibly the first dance this series which I'm longing to watch again.

Lol

I actually thought her and Brian might have had a bit of a falling out tonight, he looked awfully serious when waiting for the judges' scores...

Yes, but I could see the problem with those dances. Ali couldn't hide the fact that she was trying very hard with the more difficult routines. In that respect, Brian was right..Ali captured the "spirit" of the dance much better tonight, she looked more relaxed. Now I want to see her do the same with a routine that has more "wow" factor.
