Why were Jade & Ian in the bottom 2?
I feel that these 2 are underrated. People rave on about Zoe being a great dancer but I think Jade is slightly better.
I wonder why Jade was in the dance-off this week? |

Same reason Zoe was in it last week. Couples are more vulnerable under the new point system. They'll all be scared now. Exciting!

Because not enough people voted for them.
![]() People probably voted for Zoe this week so that she avoided a second dance off. Jade and Ian were fairly high on the leader board but that doesn't make you safe, as we've seen before. |

Didn't know who she was before and I haven't warmed to her personality and I know others that feel the same

I don't think her VT strop helped...but neither does the new scoring system when there are ties....as there were tonight.

The judges were too busy bigging Zoe up and begging for votes on her behalf that they forgot to rave about Jade!
I really enjoyed her dance. |

Jade is much better than Zoe. Her problem was, a very bad VT, i found it difficult to concerntrate on the dance after that.

i voted for them. too many people in need of glasses voting for Craig "I'm so desperate to get to Blackpool" and Flavia won't have helped!

I was just relieved she was there with Jo Wood and not Ricky Whittle or we could have lost her

I thought Jade and Ian were great tonight, and yes, better than Zoe and James. I felt that Zoe and James were somewhat overmarked for a frankly underwhelming American Smooth - perhaps an attempt to save them from the same fate as last week when they were unjustly in the dance-off.
Sadly I don't think Jade and Ian have caught the public's imagination as yet. I think Jade shows talent in both Latin and Ballroom and as ever, Ian has formed a good partnership and is showcasing his partner brilliantly, but they are somewhat understated. I'm fine with that, in fact I like it, but I fear a lot of people will be seeing understatement as lack of personality, or aloofness. Still, maybe the travesty of this excellent couple being in the dance-off will inspire a more committed support. |

I really enjoyed her dance. It was probably a combination of factors Being on first A stroppy mare on the VT People thinking she's safe The judges underplaying her performance Her dress (i spent more time wondering what exactly she was wearing underneath and could i really see her ass than i did watching her dance) |

I think Jade shows lots of personality, she has a great relationship with ian and she works hard at improving every week.
but she's not like Tuffers or Ricky G who instead of concertrating on learning to dance force feed us with their cheeky chappy personalities because they know that at this stage of the competition that personality is probably more important than showing that you atually want to dance well. |

I adore Jade and Ian but she did come across quite stroppy in her VT.
I think that might have been one of the reasons why she was there, also her samba was no where near as good as her VW. |
