Natalie Cassidy said tonight she's a size 12.

Do I need to adjust the width control on my TV?

I don't know...but there is a well-known effect which makes people on television look heavier than they are.

I wouldn't have thought so. For a short person I'd say she was probably a size 12.

Natalie weight threads.

I enjoyed her American Smooth tonight - great shadowing section.

TV does make most people look about 10lb heavier but I'd say she was nearer an American than British 12, lovely though she is.

I agree with you. Also, I've noticed she's lost some weight. Besides, who cares what size she is?! Natalie is a curvy woman - nothing wrong with that!

Natalie is about my size, which is much bigger than a 12 I'm afraid. And I'm not having a go at her, I like her lots.

Believe me..tv does make you look bigger.....I was on something once and I looked like I was pregnant (which I'm not).....tv does add the pounds

The SCD dresses are for sale on the DSI website. The waist measurements for Natalie's dress indicate that she is indeed a size 12.

Err.. What's it got to do with caring or not caring about what size she is?

On this thread, it's about whether she is, or not, a size 12 as she said she was.
It seemed like she was trying to assure viewers that she wasn't too heavy for Vincent to lift, which he certainly didn't attempt and I don't blame him.

Maybe a possible lift failed "a risk assessment."

I have nothing against the girl and am a curvy 14 myself... she is clearly NOT a size 12!! Why lie?

This has already been done.

Whether or not someone is a 12/14/16 has nothing to do with their dancing ability...why does everyone have to bring this up in threads????? Its ridiculous

Cheers abba - indeed the question was why did she say that in her vt when it is a blatant lie!!

And it clearly will affect her dancing ability if her partner isn't prepared to lift her coz she is too heavy...

I'm not so sure she's telling fibs.

Doesn't the telly make people appear bigger than they are?

Unless you've seen the girl in real life, it's difficult to comment on her size with any accuracy.

But again I beg the question...what does size have to do with anything? If it was a male celeb dancer we wouldnt be having this conversation
