The SCD dresses are for sale on the DSI website. The waist measurements for Natalie's dress indicate that she is indeed a size 12.
Thank you for that info!!

I'm sick to the back teeth of people taking digs at Natalie's size.

I think everyone has just gone into overdrive about the weight issue...why cant we concentrate on the dancing?
I agree actually, hence why on earth did she bring it up?

She also mentioned about Vincent being 'able' to lift her on ITT on Friday. If she just got on with it, without bringing the weight thing up, people may be less inclined to pick her up on it. If she does, she is just asking for people to react.

She's going to regret saying that.

But how many of the celebs say that they cant do this or they cant do that...Nat just said something about Vincent not being able to lift her cos of her weight.

I dont ever remember posts banging on and on when Kat Slater or Sharon Watts (sorry, cant remember their real names) were dancing...they were (or looked) the same size as Natalie so why now endless posts on Nats size? Yes, she brought it up but how many other comments from the celebs (non weight related) have been missed and not commented on?

Did those other celebs bring it up?

(There were plenty of comments in DOI when Coleen Nolan started referring to herself as a "real woman" (as if others weren't)).

I don't think she's any bigger than a twelve.

So what if Nat said size 12....cant believe its created such a hype of conversation!

Listen to yourselves...you're all more interested in the size of a dancer than the dancing itself!

Its not right but it is inevitable. I think there were posts about their weight but Jessie Wallace (Kat) went out quite early and Letitia did have amazing legs despite her slightly barrel shape (sorry folks). Natalie has probably been the biggest contestant yet (that I can remember) and sad as it is people will discuss it, she is, however, fueling the debate by going on and on about it.

I don't think it's the fact she brought up her size that people have a problem it's that they don't believe what she said. If she'd said 'i'm a 14' I don't think there'd be these comments

What, you mean... she was Telling The Truth?

You mean... People On An Internet Forum Were... Wrong?

Nope, that can't be right. I mean, we're licence fee payers, we must automatically be always correct.

My view of it would be the same if she'd said size 14.

I'm not interested in her size; I'm interested in how she's trying to use it.

However, if she is a twelve, then she can't really win here...

...because some people decide that they do not like a particular celeb for whatever reason, and use every opportunity they get to slag them off in the most viscious manner possible.

It's happened this year to Natalie, just as it's happened to others in previous years.

Not nice.

I reckon 14 on top and a 16 on bottom.
I really couldn't careless about her size, but if you don't like the thread ,don't post on it.
This is DS and if the Strictly Come Dancing forum is no different than all the random threads that get started.

In a way she has won though, she seems to be quite popular and obviously getting enough votes. I think she's being very clever appealing to ordinary women. It's often said that on programs like this most voters are women, not enough women voted for Zoe or Jade but enough voted for Natalie

No - Nat said Vincent couldn't lift her because they are similar height. I think she said words to the effect, "He's too small," to which Vincent replied, "I'm not too small, just not tall enough."

I thought Vincent made the right decision in deciding not to attempt a lift, and I don't think Nat's weight/size would have been an issue had she not claimed to be a size 12. On camera she looks more like a 16, so allowing for the fact that the camera can often add pounds, she is probably a 14.

Nothing wrong with that - many love curvy girls; but claiming a size lower does suggest some discomfort with her weight.
