I won't argue with that; perhaps they do - which suggests that they too feel some discomfort with their weight otherwise they wouldn't feel the need to drop a dress size.

I have started a reply and deleted and started again ...

I am a former anorexic. At size 8-10 and 5'2" I still feel too fat 20 years on.

Nat mentioned her weight, clearly it is an issue for her still, prompted by the No Lift thing I suspect.

By mentioning it at all and I feel personally, understating her dress size , she has opened a debate.

She doesnt look a 12, more a 14 at the least. And no, it doesnt affect her dancing, and yes, I thought she looked fabulous tonight.

I liked being Really skinny cos people said Ooh arent you skinny and it felt like an achievement.

Maybe Nat needs to accept who and what and how she is and not throw out soundbites like that looking for approbation. Just let the dancing do the talking hon.

Definately not a 16.”

She is 5'4"

That's not why they didn't do lifts.

Sorry to disagree with you, but yes they would they wouldn't believe she was a size 14 either.

If she wasn't a size 12, I doubt very much she would say she was on national TV.

This thread is unbelievable.

But (and I know I am flogging a dead horse here) SHE brought it up, hence legitimizing any subsequent and clearly anticipated discussion....

My husband bought me something recently in a size ten, I am an ample size 14... clearly wishful thinking or total delusion on his part, I am not sure everyone (male or female) can judge sizes accurately, however this i do know - I am a size 14 and I swear if Natalie is a size 12, then I am seriously body dysmorphic in reverse or whatever it is. Having said that maybe I am just seeing something different to everyone else....

see, Im confused now.

Anyone can see she's losing the weight she had at the start of the show, but not not fast enough for some unkind people on these threads. I would say she is size 14-16, not a 12 that's for sure. She looked amazing in the spoof Henry VIII sketch she did with Vincent on Paul O'Grady the other week wearing a long black Tudor style gown, very much slimmer.

But SL - had she not claimed to be a size 12 - her weight would not have become an issue.

I think Natalie only brought up the issue because she knew other people were going to bring it up as soon as they saw Natalie and Vincent weren't doing any lifts in there AS. It shouldn't have been an issue, but we all know that even if it hadn't been mentioned at all there would probably have been a thread started asking if Vincent didn't lift her because of her weight.

I couldn't care less whether she's a size 12 or not but I do think it's sad people have automatically leapt on her and called her a 'blatant liar' when they do not actually know the truth. As far as I can tell it's perfectly plausible that she is a size 12, owing both to the fact it's tv, and her height.

It is well documented the problems Natalie has had with her weight and I wish that people would just leave her alone to dance, personally I think she did very well tonight and her and Vincent look great together.

Rubbish.

She mentioned it once.

I doubt she anticipated multiple discussions, accusations of being a "heffer" and people saying she's a blatant liar.

This thread is offensive. I'm off from it.

I advise others to do the same.

Well I think on the whole most people are quite nice about Natalie after all she did all the publicity about it in the first place if she had said nothing about it at the start I doubt anyone would have said anything.

As for not being nice well that prize belongs to Ricky W
I have never seen such nasty threads started nearly every day about him!!

They are consistent with a size 12 waist tis true, but it seems strange that the measurements for the others don't actually vary very much - all of the pros seem to have the exact same measurement (25" waist) which makes me wonder whether those measurements are the "non stretched" measurements?

ER no, not rubbish, she mentioned it tonight, on Friday on ITT and countless times before on several programmes that she has appeared on.

Granted, name calling is unnecessary and yes, very very offensive, but weight issues or not, are not exclusive to her - people have every right to discuss it - particularly if she is.

Why are people so ridiculously offended by it ? It is a huge issue in society and shouldn't be brushed under the carpet. I'll bet if she stays in and I hope she does, there will no doubt be a discussion (perpetrated by Natalie) on how much weight she has lost (as Ricky G is now stating) and you know what - that is a GREAT thing and should encourage other people how good for you dancing can be. I wish I had her balls to get out there and do it, unfortunately I don't have her confidence.

You need to bear in mind TV adds around 10lbs and also how short Natalie is (look at her height when she is standing near other celebs and look at how short she is compared to them). If you want to compare yourself with Natalie, you need to think of yourself about 10lbs heavier. I think Mayslespost below sums it up perfectly.

There are several people on here already mentioning size 16.
