With Alesha getting all the attention they are all clamouring for screen time I reckon. Plus think Craig has his wrists slapped.

Mr Moany
It all feels like a slightly desperate attempt to manage the anti-judge voting...which is fair enough....but I think the new scoring system is working against that. Fortunately the right people are going atm. Hopefully the real Craig will be back at some point. |

I though that about Bruno, he set up the whole kangaroo thing last week by saying Jo looked like a grasshopper (I think) then sat back and watched Craig take all the flack

He seems frustrated by the lack of good dances.

Even my Dad was complaining about "that Italian judge" and he doesn't normally say anything about SCD!

He should have been called on it, just as much as Craig was.

And obviously has his favourites doesn't he. If he is shattered with all the travelling then he has to make a choice- USA or UK - If he picks DWTS - then let's have Karen Hardy as his replacement

I get the impression he's showing off to Alesha - don't know why. I agree about Karen as a judge or maybe Camilla

Bruno has been quite obnoxious over the last few weeks and seems to pick on certain dancers to "have a go at". I thnk he is better suited to an American audience - so I vote he be replaced by Karen or Camilla. I am sure they can get their point over in a much nicer way without demoralizing the contestants who have put iin hours and hours of practice

I also agree with the poster who said he was actually worse than Craig over 'Kangaroo-Gate', as all you could hear was him cackling in the background, after he'd done his impression of a grasshopper to which Bruce said something along the lines of 'Well done, you know what one is' or something. And I hate how he'll reel off negative things to a contestant, say 'I'm sorry but it's true' and then turn his back on said contestant and face the other judges. I get the impression he quite relishes putting the boot in, which I don't think is so with Craig. |

Tbh I can't understand why they replaced Arlene over Bruno, he's always been the least of the judges, and now he's got nasty. Last night there were a few occasions while he spoke I thought 'You nasty a*sehole'

Thats been the plan all series. Bruno is marking lower to keep the totals right. Craig is being more positive and constructive. Alesha is very positive but throws out realistic marks to the poorer dancers when they should go. Its working - they sound nicer, the marks are more or less in the right order and, unlike last year, Jo and Joe havn't stayed on like John.
the big question is if they can get rid of Craig, Chris, Ricky G and Phil all of who seem to have votes unconnected with dancing. I agree there is a marked difference (no pun intended!) in Bruno's style as opposed to previous series. I had deep reservations about him in the last series with his favouritism as illustrated by his "my girls" comment and his previous admission that, due to his position on the end, he overmarked (Emma Bunton) to ensure what he perceived to be a fairer score. I was also very dubious about the tie that nearly doomed Tom Chambers to expulsion. Apols though I don't mean to open old wounds but I do think the new Bruno is an improvement (even when he is Mr Nasty) and his comments to me have more credibility now. |

I do think Craigs whole "get me to blackpool" is going to get him through. Bruno gets a way with being nasty because hes so OTT, I do get a bit annoyed when he forgets the contestants names, thats TWICE Alesha has had to correct him for calling someone the wrong name! |

The dance off vote on Saturday was really pointless but did Bruno really need to cast his vote with such giggling glee?

I would agree with this, The two Joes would have lasted a lot longer last year. If Craig is the next one to go then we'll be left with people that have a lot of potential.

I do wonder though if he genuinely thinks its all a bit bland this year. If you watch some of what he's getting on DWTS its much more lively (watch Melissa's charleston which I think he gave 10 to ) There's an awful lot of people on SCD this year who are good but not that entertaining or entertaining but not good or able but under-rehearsed or able but over choreographed and there's not been any (much?) great choreography to allow the best to shine. I think he's a bit depressed at not seeing what he hoped he would. |

Tuffers is a decent ballroom dancer Chris can dance Ricky G is becoming a very useful dancer And they all have some personality and can entertain- in short they are a package which is more than can be said of some of the other contestants |

. Bruno compared her dancing to a grasshopper-skippy motion.

He should have been called on it, just as much as Craig was.
