I know I'm in the minority but he really annoys me.

He's trying too hard to be funny and I cringed both during the opening of his Paso and Jive when he was speaking to the audience.

I prefer Chris Hollins and Tuffers amongst the boys.

I remarked on this to my other half a couple of weeks ago. They do say that girls often marry a man like their father though!

There's a definite resemblance.

Now Jo's gone, he's the most irritating celeb left.

lol - I think his voice and accent are what does it, they really DO sound alike but looks I'm not so sure about.

I must have been sleeping when they got married (and I'm usually well up on that kind of thing) - up until last week I still thought they were just b/g friend.

I'm totally with you on this one Sid.

Me too - and I didn't really like Tuffers before the dancing started but I'm warming to him compared to Ricky G

Count me in.

Phil (I have warmed to him surprisingly, but, really, "Tuffers" would be going too far) is naturally charming and entertaining, whereas Ricky G is staged and orchestrated with Erin seemingly pulling the master strings. He also seems to be in the judges' favour for reasons I cannot fathom. The "VW" AS was barely in hold. There was more froggin' quickstep!

Although far preferred, Chris' face is a cringefest all to itself and will give me nightmares tonight. I know it.

Agreed. Ricky's marks have really surprised me, I think his dances this week and last week were quite poor actually but it wasn't reflected in the marks. His frame and his hands drive me mental, he needs to sort them out instead of letting the 'performance' carry him through.

I remember a few years ago scientists saying that women are often attracted to partners that look a bit like their fathers.

Can't take to Ricky G at all and am constantly shocked at the marks he receives. I always expect him to be lower on the leaderboard than he actually is.

Well count me in the minority too - I find him irritating in the extreme.
