If it were as simple as you seem to think it is, Zoe'd've been in the bottom two this week, but she wasn't. the public votes don't stay the same every week, so... let's wait and see.

The new scoring system has benefited the couples at the bottom of the leader board and left those near the top more vulnerable.

If I had a choice, I'd prefer to lose Zoe over Jade. The latter's dancing is more exciting, especially the Latin.

Agree, I think voters might have thought once was a fluke, but it has happened twice now that a good dancer was in the bottom two so people have to get off their behinds now and start voting for their favorite!

Yes, because there are so many ties. (Three this week.) On the other hand, most of the poorer dancers who looked like they might stay and stay and stay have been eliminated, so it doesn't seem that too much damage has been done.

The public are probably only just starting to twig how the new scoring system works. I don't normally vote until about half way through the series, unless I think my favourite is in danger. This year I have voted since week 1 because of the threads on here discussing the impact of the new scoring system - you can't take the risk in the same way as in previous series. Once they were down to the last three couples, I honestly thought it was going to be Jade against Ricky W.

Actually I hadn't though of that till now.The gap between the top and bottom will be closer if there is a lot of ties.

So if 9 couples all got 30 and Craig got 18 next week it would be 10 to all of them and 9 to crag which means it becomes a popularity contests and the judges scores count less
