Impossible - the competitors are a random selection of people with varying natural dancing abilities and many of them have studied dance before.
Also the general public all have favourites among the pro team and that affects how they vote. I can stand smug self-obsessed James for example.
Then ther''s the voting public who have wills and minds of their own as typified by the John Sergeant popularity last year. They don't care if their favourite can't dance.
SCD is not like a 1000m race where only the fit and trained apply.
It is a wonderful mish mash of clashing egos and hopeless cases and real surprises. I love it.
