But he can't dance, doesn't improve at all, is much less entertaining than Jo and no-one I know can understand why he is still there. Even Flavia must be bewildered. Is it a fix of some kind? He is a lovely bloke but he is not good enough for this SCD lark. That's the bottom line. I suppose it might be the Chris wotsit from Eastenders syndrome, but he did give us a good laugh at least.

What does Craig bring to the table? Oh, he has some connection with Blackpool. And is it his birthday?:yawn:
Everyone keeps asking this but rather than asking this question why cant we all suggest reasons why he is so popular?

I imagine it's because no-one can think of one.

The only thing I can think of is that Flavia is fairly popular in her own right (but: this didn't save Martina and Matthew, so why is it helping Craig and Flavia?).

Yes but if Flavia is so popular how come she went out first last year when she was partnered with Phil?

Personally I think it's because we secretly relish a bit of car crash tv, but paradoxically hope that Craig will have a break-through one week.

Mind you, I haven't voted yet this series, so what do I know

Rather than asking why he is 'popular' why don't you consider the fact that he is not actually popular at all, on SCD. I accept he is/may be popular because of his soap character, but that character does not include dancing, learning to dance, being entertaining while learning to dance and so on.

'Everyone keeps asking this' for very good reasons. It is not up to us to suggest reasons why he is 'popular' when it is blatantly obvious to most rational people that this is not the case, SCD wise. All I can add is, ask Flavia if you don't believe me. And Claudia.

Yeah, they're dropping him off and then getting on with the real dancing

He really isn't going to Blackpool, you know.
Unless it's on a charabanc to see the illuminations.

Buoy if Craig gets to Blackpool (and it is a BIG if), you have no idea what it will be like on here. And if you think some posters have been a bit harsh with you so far, then believe me you ain't seen nuthin yet. You will think World War 3 has started. Be careful what you wish for.

But what is your non-polltical answer to Buddy's comments, which are diametrically opposed to yours? Or is it merely politics?

Whether or not you like Buddy's comments , and I'm sure many others of us also like her comments, as she is indeed, a 'sweetie', you are diverting the argument.

Buddy's comments are usually sweet, but not on this occasion.

I'm sure when she said about WW3 she said it tongue in cheek and I found her comments just that

This is just a opinion forum. Its not a real war.Is this what you are suggesting that I should prepare for a battle?

Trust me I know a few people who are fighting a real war at the moment

So did we all, I hope.

No. I was not suggesting you should prepare for a battle,.

You are not alone, you know, but what has this got to do with anything on here?

Yes but you were making out that when she mentioned WW3 it was something i was to be scared about and shouldn't joke about.

I am only pointing out that these comments were jokey as there is nothing that can be said on here that is going to change my life either way unlike people who are really fighting a war

No, this is not the case.

Craig is a great dancer.
And not only is he going to Blackpool, he is going to win the whole thing.

Several times people on here have said that 'he is a lovely bloke'. I reckon that being lovely is good enough reason to be popular.

No, I think it's more important that you keep taking yours.

I'm worried what might happen to your blood pressure if Craig gets to Blackpool.

Or he doesn't...

Despite his loveliness he was twice in the dance off!

Did he become more lovely when he 'wanted to go to Blackpool?'

He is very lovely.

In the way those RSPCA dogs staring at you from the ads are lovely. Tragic. Sad. You don't want to see them and you pay money to make it all go away.
