Despite his loveliness he was twice in the dance off!

Did he become more lovely when he 'wanted to go to Blackpool?'
Yes, definitely became more "lovely" when he started going on about Blackpool:yawn:

Think of how much lovlier he's going to be this week for the "aah bless, it's his birthday" vote

What is the system of allocation of audience tickets for Blackpool?
Has Craig applied?

I had never heard of him before SCD as I don't watch the soaps so I can only judge on what I'm seeing now.

He seems to be a nice bloke but he hasn't got very much personality at all and is by far the weakest dancer left in the comp imo.

I also think Flavia looks rather embarrassed and a bit bewildered by the whole thing. Saturday...! He just stood still because he couldn't remember the steps! How is that entertaining?

I think pushing the Blackpool thing is really unfair and that's my neck of the woods!

There was a young lad named Craig
Whose footsteps were horribly vague
He set off for Blackpool
Where he went to high school
And ended up lost in The Hague.

Sorry, I know it's terrible but I'm at home sick and I'm bored.

So did Matt di Angelo on one occasion - didn't bother her too much on that occasion.

Dancing Cake - how about:

There was a young man, name of Kelly,
Who wanted to dance on the telly.
He was terribly sweet
But he had two left feet
And knees that just turned into jelly.

Why don't we see you and Dancing Cake on the Limericks thread?

The lights went out in Blackpool
The day that Craig arrived in town
They didn't want to witness
Their home-boy let them down

The tide went out
And stayed out
Even Brucie lost his smile
There was silence in the ballroom
And mourning on the Mile

When Craig drove into Blackpool
Yes, Craig arrived in Blackpool
He was voted into Blackpool
Because Bhoy put him on redial......

I love that. It has an Irish feel to it somehow. Anyway, it's bloomin good.
Do you do Limericks too? Please join us on the Limerick thread along with OldLady and Dancing Cake.

At Blackpool Craig stood on the prom
Shouting "This is where I am come from!"
He got his reply
"It's dance, do or die!"
Then his waltz went down like a bomb!

I didn't know there WAS a limericks thread! Think I'll stick to reading rather them now than attempting to write them!

One last one from me:

There was a young man came from Lytham
Who had little or no sense of rhythm
It's his hands, old Len cried
He really has tried
But he doesn't know what to do with'em.

Perfection. Please put it on the Limericks thread along with any others.

And all you other previously lurking limerickers

I got to admit these limericks made me chuckle.

I hope if he gets to Blackpool next week you can all come back on here next Monday and write some positive ones for him
