Two former pro winners not taking part...and the other four all out of the competition in just 6 weeks.

I think it's nice for someone else to get a chance to win and for us to get to know the other pros better.

Ditto

Makes me wonder though if there'll ever be a pro who wins it twice...

Unlike DWTS it seems to be something they are trying to avoid happening.(Although would have to say both Darren with Emma Bunton and Brendan have had partners that possibly could have got them the double)

And Lilia came close with Matt Dawson.

Good point! But Matt Dawson wasn't an obvious all the way one to start with.

Deliberate I thought. Brendan got Jo and Vincent got Nat which made it very unlikely they would repeat last year being in the final. Brian and Anton were due a better year and you could add a couple more people who have the talent this year they havn't had recently

And how likely do you think it is that they would want the same people in the semis two years in a row and the same pros stuck with useless people for years in a row ? They assign by height and have more than one option for each height? its relatively simple to keep the best prospects away fom the same people every year as long as all the good celebs are not the same height and sex..

I don't think it's luck of the draw as they have to match the Height/Weight.....Normally lol

I'm really glad for James and Ian this year. I hope at some point Ola gets a really decent partner because this year I think her choreography has improved A LOT. I don't know what it is about Erin and Anton but I never really get behind them. Erin seems like she can be a bit of an ice queen, thought this year with Ricky I'm warming to her a bit. And Anton is just so blaaaaaah and his latin always disappoints me.
